If you make TOM a requirement for oryx (normal)...
Your a bad player period I recommend anyone that sees posts requiring Tom and a ridiculous light level to avoid even applying to join these type of players. They are usually the worst, know it all type and most Whiney of players. A raid is never fun with players like that. So do yourself a favour and don't join them.

1 OdpowiedźI ran a hard raid at level 299 up to Oryx, capping out at level 302 by the end of it all.. The difference was I did it with my clanmates, who all know I am a capable player. Regardless of my level... Seeing as you can't merit the skill of a player simply by scouting their stats, requiring a "checkpoint weapon".. Checkpoint weapon being a weapon that is earned by specific set of requirements... Touch of malice's requirement being to beat the raid, it seems fitting to require for the raid.. it shows experience.. and determination.

4 OdpowiedziSorry sir or ma'am, but have you played normal mode since the release of hard mode?? I've played with some amazing groups, all from destiny tracker prior to hard mode, we beat it fast. Since hard modes release those amazing group have moved on, what's left.....? Well frustration, I have since played with some very, very bad groups

For normal i usually require 295+, and atleast some experience. ToM is helpful but not required. Hard mode it for sure is though

For normal no,you have to complete the raid without touch of malice first time and we where lower light then.

To all people saying it's only needed or good for the last 2 bosses that is wrong. With Titan and blessing on and all have ToM you get Warpriest down in one Run almost even on Hard! Same with golgoroth or any dps thing. Blessing and Tom is unbelievable. But off course it's not needed.

6 OdpowiedziI don't know what all the hype is about. I got mine yesterday after holding off on it for ages. Personally I don't think I'd pick it over my black spindle in the raid. I guess some folks might just like team members who are willing to put in the effort for a gun like that

12 OdpowiedziLet's see, ToM is designed specifically for the last two fights in the raid so asking people to use it (especially when it's a quest based weapon anyone can get) makes the fireteam leader a bad player. Brilliant logic.

Did my first completion today, used thunderlord to stagger oryx. Worked just fine.
