If you make TOM a requirement for oryx (normal)...
Your a bad player period I recommend anyone that sees posts requiring Tom and a ridiculous light level to avoid even applying to join these type of players. They are usually the worst, know it all type and most Whiney of players. A raid is never fun with players like that. So do yourself a favour and don't join them.

Don't listen to the elitist community, btw fellas you people r the reason that nobody plays this game any more. I was rejected from a group cuz I didn't have the emblem for beating the hard raid , was 311 light with TOM but cuz I don't have something that has no impact on my power level, no soup for me. To be fair you can form your own group with whatever stipulations you want, must eat bacon have a high top fade what ever but its all stupid. Maybe if there was a social space for people who only wanted to do raids or trials we wouldn't have to deal with the tools on the forums who would not have the balls to talk smack to face.

3 OdpowiedziAt this point in the game, it's pretty pointless to do the normal mode right now. In order to hit 320 light you have to do hard mode.

As you are someone with it, not just someone who doesn't have it complaining I will agree with you that it doesn't need to be a requirement. However it does make the encounter go a lot quicker as it is a useful gun. Players also have the right when making a group to ask for whatever they want, as it is their group. They could require a particular shader to be worn, would be weird, but whatever. Doesn't make their requirements "right", but it is their group. That being said, if someone thinks a particular gun is needed to do a boss, Bungie has yet to make any boss to require a gun. I personally do my best to avoid LFG when putting together a raid. The only thing I ever do require of people is to listen, be honest about experience, and to focus when it is needed.

It's their raid group. Why the hell not? Don't like it, make your own fireteam with your own expectations, or lack thereof.

14 OdpowiedziYou're right, you don't have to join them. So don't. There's nothing wrong with raid standards being set too high, because that group will still be made. Just because someone prefers a faster run doesn't mean they have to cater to you.

I have a steady raid team and already have had a couple of hard mode completions before getting ToM. Its not needed even on hard. I finally just tracked down my last fragment and got the gun yesterday. Look forward to using it but an LFG requirement to have it on normal mode would make me skeptical of the team's aptitude.
