Most major game forums have this mentality for their games. Take a look at any blizzard forum, their pc games have a "the world is ending and blizzard is unable to make a good game"

Truth. They really don't anymore. Wow is shit now, Diablo is shit now, and have you seen that new card game they have? A card game! Garbage. I'll admit to never having played Starcraft, but the rest of them I know are junk.

Yeah, wow no longer is capable of holding my attention. Diablo is much better but I wish it had trading in some form. Gameplay wise it's a pretty good game Starcraft is an acquired taste. It's not very user friendly and is considered one of the hardest games to play. (effectively) that and when you lose there really isn't anywhere to go with the blame other than you failed at handling the situation. Blaming anything besides that is almost always a lie.

Lol Starcraft is one I've considered playing for some time now, but I'm worried that they've had too much time to ruin it for me. And Diablo would still be cool if they hadn't screwed the camera so greatly. I haven't played it on the PC (Diablo 3) but I have it on the 360 (the SINGLE DLC as well) and the camera is almost top down. It just feels so much less personal. Less immersive, you know?

Diablo 3 camera is the same it has been since Diablo 1. An isometric, fixed third person view. Not perfectly top down but close to it I suppose. I don't see how they could have ruined that. I guess if you don't like that in general than it won't work for you.

My bad. Didn't know. I just figured it went the way of Dungeon Siege with its console release. It was a great game until 3. Then it became some impersonal trudge. Shitty character selection and simplified menus.

Sorry for the necro. Didn't play Diablo 1 or 2. Made an incorrect assumption about it. HAVE played Dungeon Siege 1, 2 and 3. Assumed Diablo 3 did what DS3 did with the camera angles and simplified gameplay. Which I thought was horrible, but I guess Diablo's just always been this bad.
