Teammate in raid: "someone pop blessing of light." Only titan-useful thing in raids I have ever heard. As blessing/weapons is the only thing titans are good for. It is very useful but your foot is so far up your ass and is full of smug arrogance.

For melting point you gotta go up and punch the enemy from what I recall. Shadow Shot allows to be fired from a range allowing everyone to do more damage compared to having a titan run to the boss and punch them only to have a chance to get killed or do no other damage as they are running back to be able to do damage and by then it has worn off or about 1 second left. There is only 1 boss where you have enough time to punch them and get back to do maximum damage. I prefer a hunter's shadow shot over the titan's melting point. Also warlocks are for crowd control especially when Golgoroth summons the taken. Titans aren't as required as a Hunter would be.

Also, a tether is a debuff on the bosses health, so it's way different then giving you more gun power.

You serious right now? Team of self res warlocks is the best for oryx. Beat him on the first run. Hunter tether can stop all adds in center from doing anything and makes vessel die instantly and is extremely handy on all bosses. Titans give you a bubble with weapons or blessings. Nothing to spectacular.

Cause dumbass when shit hits the fan everyone wants a bubble. This raid has more spots requiring a bubble than anything else. Shadow shot is also really helpful so hunters are still great. Warlocks, wellll
