Yeah, preference plays a big part. For whatever reason I never liked the thorn, I always felt like I couldn't place my shots where I wanted them. Now if you hand me a hawkmoon or an ace, I'll poo on people lol. I also forgot it's an exotic, if there's a legendary counterpart that's just as good then there's not much point in using the exotic slot.
