Or make this a perk on a piece of exotic gear.
Perk name:
Tether born.
Description:
Shooting shadowshot near down allies instantly revives them.
Revived players spawn with temporary increase in agility and gain an over shield(last 3 seconds) for escape purposes..
Enemies can still be tether within proximity.
Reduced shadow shot range.
Can revive more than 1 player as long as its within proximity.
Bout time we get a medic ability.
We don't need an "offensive" PvP perk for a support class.
Hunters have golden gun and blade dancer for if they feel like getting more multi kills in PvP
My opinion
I play a lot of trials and raids and I'm pretty good. (check yourself) using a super to revive a teamate would be a round changer but not a game changer. Sunsingers in trials could self res, they also have an armor buff and a lot of grenades.
At least with this super the buffs are temporary.
And it requires your super to perform something which is useless on heavy rounds and rare to see the beginning rounds.
As for pve.
Using this in raids and nightfalls can be life saving as hell.
And honestly the thought of s support class be aggressive in PvP is borderline stupid.
You should not be able to get a triple kill with a support class. That easily.
Bump
Edit:
Cozmo has replied.
"I ike the the suggestion. It would be an amazing ability in Trials of Osiris to be able to revive your entire team from a distance. Possibly too good. For now Quiver is not being replaced, it was only taken offline temporarily until a permanent fix can be applied to an exploit. Thanks for the cool idea though.
Feedback is appreciated.
But I don't think we're done here.
I say if this post post hits 5k replies bungie themselves should take this Into consideration.
Make this a perk
Make this an exotic armor perk
So bump it up.
Turn this post into a petition if we have to.
Shanks for reading kind xurs:)
9 OdpowiedziSpeak for tourself...i like using ss in pvp. Quiver is the only thing that makes it playable.
-
Great idea
-
That sounds cool as shit
-
Poisoned arrow an arrow that tethers with 1 beam that deals double the damage a smoke grenade does but the arrow it's self is a ohk and if you hit a sun breaker dead on the poisen will kill it over time but it dosent drain super energy
-
7 OdpowiedziUmmm how about they just bring back gloom ranger.....
-
1 OdpowiedźHow about... quiver... You can only shoot 3... but have to open start menu every time
-
No, they nee a good pvp perk. If the tether had increased range on it though during that perk i might have liked it more. Combine black hole into your perk then replace black hole with a perk where the tether continuly explodes on impact dealing great damage, and tethered enemies take damage over time.
-
1 OdpowiedźReplace it with the perk: Git Gud - If you used the shadowshot glitch your Hunter wears a Dunce hat in PvP.

6 Odpowiedzi*kills an enemy* Revives everyone* Hilarious

He caught it lol. Maybe on an exotic armor?
-
Nah. We don;t need a medic ability. Hunters were scouts for the city. I don't think we need this. Don't get me wrong, It's a neat idea. Maybe we could have a kinetic subclass, lol. We have kinetic weapons, why not?
-
It's called blackhole... Are people still seriously crying about quiver? This is coming from someone who mains a nightstalker hunter.
-
Eh maybe if you still only had the one teather but could revive 2 people if they were both downed withen its reach.
-
I love this idea. How funny would it be if you missed the arrow for the revive lol
-
Best perk
-
Hmmmm...interesting but no. That makes their support use too strong, making them completely one-sided. Besides, there needs to be some support perks left for the other classes. Us warlocks feel in the dust right now. The Taken King kinda screwed us over. Weak in PvE and to some extent in PvP. Our new exotics all suck as well. Point is, other classes, especially the newer stronger ones, don't need better perks right now. They should focus on strengthening the power of the older subclasses.
-
3 OdpowiedziCome on! Warlocks don't even have a support class. The closest we get to supporting our team is reviving ourselves to save a game. Even then you can just avoid dying...
-
This would be OP imo.
-
As great of an Idea it is, it's a little OP and no one would use any of the other perks for the super. It's a support class not a medic 1 Class with Res is enough. And personal I liked the 3 shot.
-
Give them 5-6 arrows... Then maybe we'll see less complaining.
-
Hunter class. Not healer class. But I like the idea of a full support guardian class. Like a cleric.
-
What if the longer you held in the triggers the stronger the shot?

Bump for a medic don't care what class
-
I would replace it with you get 7 hammers and health regen. Think that's pretty standard
