Edit: the majority of Destiny players do not raid or play in fireteams. Hiding new exotic weapons behind fireteam raid requirements is a dick splash move by Bungie. There have always been Raid exclusive weapons, no issue with that but now Bungie is playing PVE fireteam requirements all over the god damn place because they are lazy. Spindle? This?
Message to Bungie: you know the figures, most of your player base don't fireteam. It's gonna bite you on your lazy ass.

I see your point, but they do the same with PvP, which I really don't care for. There's that trials of osiris stuff ... I'll never get that stuff because I'm not good in crucible, and I don't want my friends to have to carry me. But I'm cool with not getting that content. If you don't want to run a raid, you should be ok with not getting that content. You really should run VoG once, it's amazing end game content.

It's not like it's up to current light levels or anything. It's a joke, you can get 3-4 people and breeze through it with current gear. God forbid you communicate with other players for a half hour to do something.

And there have been exotics behind the wall of PvP play as well. If you can't raid, you don't get certain gear. If you can't PvP, you don't get certain gear. Choice is yours. Stop complaining and git gud.

These posts about complaining about having to play content that involves fireteams are stupid. Always complaining about not having enough friends to run the raid. There are great tools to find raid teams, both on the forums and through other websites. You just got to look and not be lazy. Who knows you might find a virtual group of friends to run raids every week. My friend list is full of competent raiders and endgame content players, most of which came from LFG sites. Raid day is always fun for me because there is always a group looking for a 6th.

I'm just confused how anyone could possibly still be playing this game without raiding. It's the only thing worth doing endgame, because it's the only activity that's even remotely fun to replay more than a couple times.

New players more than likely skipped VoG and Crota. No point to it really. Bungie is giving them a reason to run it at least once. Don't like it? Delete the game. They want new people to get a quick taste of everything.

Joined a groups of randoms to run VoG normal for the exotic quest... it was actually a blast, I think we steamrolled through everything in like 20 minutes. I had a good time.

I don't know man i was kind of happy they did it, i have a couple friends that started year 2 and have never done vog. I think it will be fun to do it with them and have an actual reason to. If u need a fireteam to raid with you can message me
