Is there a legitimate reason to not have ToM?
People complain that everyone wants you to have this in the raid. But the thing is its not obtained by rng its just a bit of work.

I had over twenty without really trying so I used a guide and after about 30 minutes of looking for them I'm had 43 and still need two from the raid. I was surprised and pleased at how easy it was to actually get the ToM. Then I found out I need 30 more Hadium Flakes, ugh. I ran past so many frigging chests while rushing around to get the fragments.

Yes, it requires completing the raid to get it, which means it's doable without it. Some people are just now getting to the light level to try the raid for the first time. I have it, but there is a reason not to have it already, and I can understand the complaints that it is being made a requirement to join a raid group.

The only reason is if you don't play it all the time and you missed some courts

23 OdpowiedziI have a good reason, I have 45 fragments total but 43 for my hunter who has the quest. I have done another run through for all the physical location ones, which means that I have no idea which already achieved fragment I am missing on my hunter. By the way, where is the best place to get exploding thrall melees without dying? I am struggling to get that one done with my hunter. Do sword slashes count as a melee on them?

2 OdpowiedziNeed all of the lvl 3 CoO fragments. I have received a total of 0 antiquated runes thus far. RNG being RNG or am I not farming the right activities (raid, CoO and NF)?

T.O.M. Is only really good imo for deathsinger/sisters... Maybe for oryx but idk if ull be able to make oryx flinch with it on hard mode

The solar exotic sword is useful to kill the vessel, can kill in like 2 uppercut

3 OdpowiedziBecause only like 35% of players that have attempted the raid have beaten it. Because getting 45 fragments utterly sucks, especially when you've picked up fragments on multiple different characters. Because farming Hadium Flakes sucks as well. I guess what it boils down to is if you have time to acquire it or not.

Dunno if I can call following a step by step guide "work". A lot of people just seem to have only 15 minutes for this game. If it takes longer than 15 minutes to do its a grind and unfair and yadda yadda yadda. There is really no excuse.

No reason is legit in the eyes of any elitist or player who demands such a pre-requisite. And if you are a player who made the effort to acquire it, then you are more than entitled to demand such a treasure. But I'm just here to enjoy the game. I'll get round to it when I want to, not because you or any other player demands it. And just like Atheon and Crota, I don't need a crux to beat anything that the darkness throws at me. Keep leading the way, and I'll cut my own path.

I can't kill oryx because I can't hear very well so I mess up & get kicked.. I'm on 360 if anyone would be willing to help me out

The reason I hear the most is players grabbing one on a different character than their main. Leads to a lot of work retracing steps on the character with 44

1 OdpowiedźI don't get home til 6 or 7 every day, get up at about 5. I do get to play most of Saturday, however. I simply want to do something slightly more enjoyable in the little time I have to play.

Went from 29-42 fragments in about 2 hrs. Should have the rest tonight. I've helped others complete the quest. Should have it soon.

The farm is killing me, that's the only reason and plus I just beat the raid yesterday

ToM isn't even that good. I would prefer my jade rabbit.
