Edit: Well, you guys blew me away with this one. I posted this topic as a sarcastic shout out to the trolls that stifle the PVP conversation with attacks wreaking of their own insecurity. I thought the joke was obvious. Guess I'm not ready for the main stream. Thanks to those that supported me and those with replies ranging from "over 9000" to "a 2 foot dick", you got it. To those of you that gave answers ranging from 1.0-2.0, I have 2 words...GIT GUD!
I often see Guardians voicing their opinion on PVP in the forums get shot down and muted due to their low K/D. e.g. "LMAO, you have a 1.2 K/D noob. Git gud. STFU. Mute". I'd love to know what the minimum requirement is. I've seen people with K/D's as high is 1.7 get flamed. I'll save you the time of looking me up by telling you I'm not even in the ballpark to be qualified. However, I'd love to be able to participate eventually. Please let me know my target so I can pin it up my goal sheet and get to work. Your help is greatly appreciated.

0.0 All opinions are valid as long as the person isn't a potato. Go full potato, lose your validity.

It is in the eye of the beholder I'm afraid.. I would take any coherent opinion about anything seriously, but that requires a shred of maturity and decency.. If your looking for people to respect each other I think you chose the wrong forum sadly :/

I would say at least 1.5, i think we can all agree that players with high k/d's in like the 2.0+ range have a better grasp of what is balanced and what is not in crucible compared to a player with a barely positive k/d. Just my opinion. I do believe there is lots of BS in crucible though

If you can go 2.0 plus in IB as a 270 light you are revelant. Oh wait IB is way broken, forget it.
-
5.0 All you have to do is just snipe 5 times and quit. Never play any PvP game after that.

Edytowany przez użytkownika BeanTwenty3: 10/19/2015 5:16:10 PMYou can know all the mechanics and all the systems with -100 kd it really doesn't matter, anyone that pulls the "your kda" card is not worth talking too about balance/issues/tips as chances are while they are fantastic at the game in question they will be however it changes, it's no fluke when people are good but it doesn't automatically mean they know more than you or have a more valid opinion . If they are talking about a specific mechanic and there specific level of play then that's a different ball game

In Destiny the pvp is full of casual/mediocre player, that a lot of easy kills. A decent k/d in this game start around 1,35/1,40 IMO.

I have never looked up my k/d ratio... I couldn't care less what mine or yours is. I just play when I want to and certainly won't let silly thing like a ratio to prevent me from voicing a thought.

Above 1.0
-
In order to have an opinion... Probably 1.5+
-
It depends, but I'd say a safe bet would be anything over 1.5 you generally won't get trolled.
-
-
I'd say 12.0
-
I just play PVP to have fun so I honestly don't care what people tell me because I know I suck.
-
Do you know all those top pvp players just delete there toon and start over again that's why there kd is high
-
3 OdpowiedziMy KDR sucks, but that's mostly because my hands & eyes aren't as twitchy as they once were, not because I don't understand in-game mechanics.
-
1 OdpowiedźThe only requirement is to have actually played pvp
-
Your kd needs to be at least over 9000

Edytowany przez użytkownika Terranaza: 10/19/2015 4:57:02 PMThere is no minimum. You don't have to be a twitchy teenager to be able to form reasoned arguments as to balance. In fact, you're probably more qualified than a twitchy teenager to argue on PvP balance. I'd say you do at least have to have played a number of games in crucible before having a say, though.
