Edit: Well, you guys blew me away with this one. I posted this topic as a sarcastic shout out to the trolls that stifle the PVP conversation with attacks wreaking of their own insecurity. I thought the joke was obvious. Guess I'm not ready for the main stream. Thanks to those that supported me and those with replies ranging from "over 9000" to "a 2 foot dick", you got it. To those of you that gave answers ranging from 1.0-2.0, I have 2 words...GIT GUD!
I often see Guardians voicing their opinion on PVP in the forums get shot down and muted due to their low K/D. e.g. "LMAO, you have a 1.2 K/D noob. Git gud. STFU. Mute". I'd love to know what the minimum requirement is. I've seen people with K/D's as high is 1.7 get flamed. I'll save you the time of looking me up by telling you I'm not even in the ballpark to be qualified. However, I'd love to be able to participate eventually. Please let me know my target so I can pin it up my goal sheet and get to work. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Kk doesn't really matter all that much. A sniper can get 6.0 kds just by killing six people and hiding. While someone else on the ten could get 32 kills and have a 1.7 or 2.0 which is really better at crucible
-
I'd say a 1.0, because then statistical you can 1v1 and hold ur own... but team work is more important. Most ppl with high kds are team players with good call outs, there's no I in Team

K/D is pointless especially in the type of PvP Destiny has.
-
Don't listen to those ppl. A kd ratio has no bearing on someone's ability to use their brain and voice and opinion. That's just how the no lifers in this game make themselves feel big and mighty in the forums:)

Everyone has an opinion on pro sport we don't all need to be pro sports men or women to have that opinion Kd should have 0 bearing on people having an opinion

If you're below 1.0 then whine at your own peril If you're like .7 and below, what's even the point of complaining, you're gonna get rekt by everything anyway
-
While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, having a higher k/d shows more competence at PvP. If you are better at it, you will be more likely to understand the nuances of a variety of guns and skills and give more adequate feedback. This of course doesnt extend to someone with a high k/d that exclusively uses one or two guns regardless of what they are. Personally I main a titan, and manage to sit around a 1.4 average. I also use a wide a variety of weapons in crucible. Although ill admit in the trials sweaties i would pull out the last word. Never sunk to thorn lows. :P

Given the bonability of PvP I don't pay attention to it sometimes you get boned for whatever reason and your kd takes a hit sometimes you get blessed and steal every kill.

5 OdpowiedziThe lowest K/D you must acquire to be able to speak to me is at least a .70 K/D. A very modest K/D that almost anyone can achieve.

Edytowany przez użytkownika mrsmoothy: 10/22/2015 6:14:46 AMIf you play PVP, then your opinion is just as valid as anyone else who plays it. Anyone who imbues a set of numbers in a video game with that much importance should take a step back and reconsider their priorities. Yes, this is coming from a scumbag scrub with a .95 K/D. So I guess this opinion doesn't count.

1.0 You have to understand it to have a valid opinion And if you understand it well, you'll go positive
-

Your opinion is valid no matter what your kd is, it beggars belief that someone would judge your point of view on how many bad guys you shoot in a video game. I'm pretty sure bungie listen to people with a lower kd, because they are the audience and they want them to stick with it. If anything, you should be muting idiots who send you messages like that, they are most probably spotty little teens who haven't seen daylight or breathed fresh air since the last school day anyway.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Redacted3630: 10/22/2015 6:08:24 AMAnyone can have an opinion on PvP regardless of what their K/D is. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. The only way I can see calling someone out about their K/D being acceptable is if that person is lying about their K/D or putting someone else down about theirs when set person doesn't have a good K/D themselves.

1 OdpowiedźAverage players have a similar average of kills and deaths. Anything else is either below/above average.
-
Anyone can have an opinion; don't listen to the no lifers and jobless
-
None because people that have high k/d only play with friends so makes anyone's k/d invalid k/d don't mean shit
-
1 OdpowiedźAnyone who think you need any special ranking in anything to talk about anything in any video game leads a sad sad life.
-
They'll flame a person with a 10.0 just because he doesn't have 2 million medal score or something ridiculous. When you're a snot nosed teenager, you'll always find a way to back talk. Do you play PvP? Then your opinion is valid. Enough said

What is my K/D again? It's whatever that is. Because that makes total sense. #2pro4u

People brag about having a 2.0 K/D but only have one day in PvP....
-
1.0. Show you can at least kill as often as you get killed.
