I'm never going to be able to raid.
Since when did the recruitment section have a stick rammed up its arse?
I've never before had a problem finding raiding parties for VOG or CE, yet to do the Kings fall, "you have to have done it before, be 300+, have the badge etc etc"
I play this game for fun, and raid for fun. So what if my hunter is 289, I'd still like to find a group to try it with.
EDIT: So some really cool advice for leveling up that I didn't know - for example you get a high level reward for completing the Taken War quests, a and it's needed for the Touch of Malice quest.[b](Thanks Way455)[/b]

EDIT 2: I've been playing for a while and know how the recruitment section works - maybe I just couldn't see the posts whereby they weren't asking for experience. I run on quite a limited game time so can't always raid - kind of expected once you get married!
EDIT 3: a lot of good advice for levelling up being given, I can't mention all of you (as I'm on mobile and it's a pain), but thank you all. Good to see a lot of good folks handing out advice.

It will help. After you finish do the weekly crucible bounties. I am also looking to do the raid. I am normally light level 298 or something like that

While teaching and trial and error can be fun, it frustrates most players and it leads to people just wanting experienced players. Ive completed it 5 times and I never hesitate to take new people, yet, the light level actually does matter, the experience does not. All the bosses really require you to dps as much as possible so AT LEAST good weapons are needed. Add me, Straxxroum, I don't mind running it with you one of these days. Im PS4 btw, don't know if you are Xbox

Stop joining and start recruiting!!!!!! Say your lvl and experience and end with msg for invite then copy and paste your comment in every thread you can find and you're done its that simple 10 mins and you'll have a full party

It sucks that you can't find a group but people are just being cautious. This raid is -blam!-ing miserable when you are with bad players and a higher light level makes up for inept guardians.

2 OdpowiedziFriend tc_bendy on ps4 When me and my friends have nothing to do we like to run it. We can teach you and it shouldn't matter too much if you are under 290 because when you get new raid gear it will bump your light level up. I haven't finished oryx yet but I know how to do everything so if you want to you can friend me and next time we are missing a player (which is most of the time) you can join By the way I'm only 13, I only said that incase it bothers you. (I'm not annoying and I don't have a high pitched voice)

Use both Destinytracker.com and destinylfg.com just make sure you know what to do in the raid. It gets tiring to many to explain mechanics everytime.

My only requirements are to know what to do and be 290 light or higher, that's what light the game tells you that you should get to before trying the raid, and I'm not great at explaining sections

Only one of the three groups was too bad to get it done. Ironically it was a couple of 297's in the hunter group. Two of them kept dying over and over again causing like 12 wipes in the glyph section before the war priest. After that, I wished them luck and left. Point is, you don't need any of the stuff you mentioned. Git gud, bruh. Stop being afraid of interacting with strangers and do it.

Make your own post and find a group. Its really easy. Go to search and type in your console. Go to forums section of search. Favorite all related recruitment threads. Post in ALL of them Profit.
