Ok I have seen a lot of people saying the Shadow shot glitch is cheating and Shadow shot glitch is not cheating. So I have made a poll to figure what the community thinks.

You can do it faster if you double tap the start button instead of start then B

4 OdpowiedziIt is glitching, but people who use in pve, it has no harm. But pvp it is, it ruins the game.
-
I think the mmo community would call it an "exploit". I.e. Using a known glitch to enhance performance or gain an advantage not intended.
-
7 OdpowiedziFor those of you that consider it "not cheating", why do you think they postponed Trials?
Try again next time, kiddos.
-
2 OdpowiedziWhy anyone would think it isn't is beyond me... In fact it defies the boundaries of human stupidity... I honestly don't think people could be so stupid as to not consider it cheating

Edytowany przez użytkownika FearlessTeacher: 10/19/2015 9:08:46 PMAbsolutely cheating. Finding an exploit that allows you to go under the map and shoot up through it so you don't die but you can kill as many people as you want is cheating even though it's technically an exploit. People that defend this are a cancer that plague the destiny community.

My main is a hunter and yes its cheating never tried it but once on mars just to see on pve never did again and yes it should be fixed it's goes against what is fair I suck at pvp I will admit it but I wouldn't sink to using a cheat just to win, I hope it gets fixed I do because that's part of the programs job is if a glitch or cheese or cheat pops up they should fix it so the game stays fair for all players

1 OdpowiedźI main hunter and yes I have tried it once thought it was stupid and I haven't used it since I actually switches back to gg because it in my opinion is better in crucible than ss.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Packis: 10/19/2015 8:04:22 PMI main a hunter. If you're a hunter and you defend this glitch. You are what is wrong with the community. Be fair, use your thoughts to make an actual strategy against players. Not cheats.

Just bc you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

5 OdpowiedziWas the hammer glitch cheating?
-
7 OdpowiedziIt's an exploit, not a cheat
-
11 OdpowiedziIt is EXPLOITING, not CHEATING. Neither is good, but there is a difference.
-
Obviously cheating.
-
Clearly cheating.

Edytowany przez użytkownika TheFlyingRocket: 10/19/2015 11:47:08 AMThanks Guys & Girls this poll shows that a good percentage of the B.net community still has a sense of playing fair, which is good to see.

It's cheating, and hammer glitch was WAY more fun
-
How is this even a question? It's using a glitch in the code to get around the predefined rules and limitations of the game. That is cheating. If anyone would care to explain the other side of this "debate" (that's in quotes because no on on these forums seems to have a maturity level high enough to actually discuss and debate opinions) I would love to hear it.
-
wow over two thousand blind hunters... amazing...
-
I'm cool with it for pve, but I know it gets a lot of abuse in pvp. Totally understand it getting fixed. Don't have graviton forfeit, so I've never done it.
-
How is it not cheating?
-
It's not cheating. It's a sw feature.
-
cheating - violating accepted standards or rules; "a dirty fighter"; "used foul means to gain power"; "a nasty unsporting serve"; "fined for unsportsmanlike behavior" This is from the Webster dictionary online. In game terms just because you can do something due to a glitch that is not in the accepted standards of how supers should work doesn't mean you should. It's a glitch/exploit and a cheat. Cheating in video game terms does not require you do use 3rd party tools to affect game play.

6 OdpowiedziIf it wasn't cheating, then why did Bungie postpone Trials?
-
Funny as hell in PvE, guns kill faster though

3 OdpowiedziIn pvp yes. In pve no. Well still yes. Kind of. Pve its happy cheating.
