STAR WARS WILL KILL DESTINY PT. 2
Destiny beta had a very impressive 4.6 MILLION play the beta which is pretty good.
Star Wars Battlefront had over 9 MILLION play the beta. I know we can do simple math, that's about twice as many people playing the beta and you desticles still defend destiny
I used to respect bungie but they've sold their souls to activision and are now paying the consequences.
I know I will get a lot of shit for this and I honesty done care. You guys have your heads up bungie a ass who's ass is up activisions ass.

It's a shame the battlefront beta was crap, I'm not the best PvP player in the world but I felt like I was in God mode in that beta, it was so damn easy to be on the top of the leader boards

1 OdpowiedźIt won't kill Destiny. I'll be moving to it though. It baffles me how people who run the same strikes/raid over and over again can say SWBF is going to be boring. It was only two game modes, and I still had a blast. I'm not sure how managing to get both walkers down in the first phase, or taking the last one down with a snow speeder on the last phase could ever be considered boring. To each his own I guess. Just spawning in and killing stuff? Just ranking up and unlocking new weapons and abilities? What exactly do you think you're doing in Destiny?

It won't kill it, but with Star Wars and Halo, Destiny is definitely about to become an afterthought. Most will only play after one of those free DLC's come out, and not for long.

Of those 9million, how many stopped destiny to play the beta? 300k? Just because it had a lot of people playing it doesn't mean it's the same people who play this. There are 7b people in the world, about 3b or so are the people who are able to play these games. Plenty of room in there for the people who don't play games, people who are Star Wars fans, people who are not fps guys, people who don't like multiplayer, and all the other categories with room left over. [spoiler]my point being that majority of the player base doesn't overlap with other games that will "kill" this game[/spoiler]

Well 5 others games were supposed to kill destiny. I didn't find star wars fun what so ever. More of a task than having fun.

1 OdpowiedźSure 9 million people may have played the beta or even just downloaded it. But I would imagine that over 8 million of those people were equally as disappointed with the beta as every one else. YouTube is full of people saying that they can easily see this going the way of titanfall

Well. I played the beta. It was a Star Wars game. But it was shit. Clunky. Slow. Walk 15 miles then die. Stupid is more like it. Believe me, Destiny is safe.

It will not have the replay ability (however droning) or multi player mmo feel that destiny offers. Plus bungie, despite all the bad things said against them, actually do care about their fanbase.. to some extent. Battlefront is being created by dice published by ea. It's just going to be another shooter with nothing to aim for except some ranks, new unlocks and that's it. Finished. I will stay continue playing destiny as many other people will, this game is extremely addicting and, until maybe 7 years time, will never die. Battle front is looking to be a great game truly! However it doesn't offer the cooperative experience that destiny does.. raids, strikes and crucible all offering diverse coop game play. Battlefront: spawn in. Kill things. Rinse and repeat. You really think this will kill destiny off. Go join the call of duty fan boys screaming thatt black ops 3 will kill off destiny.

Battlefront has a huuuuuuge nostolgia factor going for it right now. It was a ton of people's favorite games back in the day. Hence the bigger beta turn out than destiny. Doesn't necessarily mean something about destiny's future.

5 OdpowiedziThe beta was generic and boring. It was battle field with a star wars skins. The guns had unlimited range, the spawns sucked, and worst of all it felt boring. It was not at all like the star wars revival every one hoped for. If you don't believe almost every major review site/ youtuber is bashing it.
