Destiny beta had a very impressive 4.6 MILLION play the beta which is pretty good.
Star Wars Battlefront had over 9 MILLION play the beta. I know we can do simple math, that's about twice as many people playing the beta and you desticles still defend destiny
I used to respect bungie but they've sold their souls to activision and are now paying the consequences.
I know I will get a lot of shit for this and I honesty done care. You guys have your heads up bungie a ass who's ass is up activisions ass.
R.I.P. Destiny 11/17/15 never forget

Logic escapes you. Most of the posts I've seen in the Destiny forum (which is where Destiny players tend to hangout), are quite negative towards Battlefront; particularly the ones who played the Star Wars beta.
-
4 OdpowiedziI feel those numbers have to be off. When the Destiny beta came out every single player on my maxed friends list was playing it. Star Wars hardly any, in fact they were playing Destiny. Star Wars will be good for a month and then just have a medium player base until next year.
-
One of them was me and i will not be buying it soooo
-
I was super excited but outside the graphics it's pretty lame
-
Cool story. See you back in Destiny in a few months

18 OdpowiedziI agree about the bungie part 100%, year 2 is a -blam!-ing joke. Crucible is over ran by invincible hammer throwing bitches, shotguns are even better after "2 patches, that's suppose to debuff them", stormcaller melee has the range of a fusion rifle, and the hunter arrow will lock you down across the map. Yet everyone gets on here cry and complains but is still logging 12-14 hours a day on destiny. Star wars is a fun game, but it won't ever take off bcuz it's not a competitive game. Plus there are so many people playing it bcuz we have been waiting 7 years for this game to come out. They have been saying this star wars would be out in 2009 and here in 2015 the beta just hit. Bungie -blam!-ed up by signing a deal with suckstation and activison. Activison blows at games, every year call of booty keeps getting worse and worse, and they are -blam!-ing up destiny also. Really wish bungie would grow a -blam!-ing pair of balls and tell both suckstation and Activision to get lost.

LOL Destiny is a year old and is a Phenomenon, Battlefront will start dying as soon as the movie comes out and the hype for it goes down.
-
Wow you mean the world wide phenomenon that is Star Wars was more popular than the new IP? That's crazy. Go figure a well established and loved series would have much more support than a brand new ip only riding off the hype of halo, a game that was only Xbox and PC.
-
The framerate for star wars is horrible.
-
Variety. Get gud.
-
Why can't I find part 1 of this post...
-
Good luck lmfao. Battlefield hardline is owned by EA and they cared more about people who bought the deluxe edition more. Battlefront made by ea. Good luck playing a Pay to win game where someone might beat you because they spent more money than you. Cya.
-
I don't know... I mean I hope so, it's just that that's what people said about Rocket League and now no one plays it. Hope you're right
-
4 OdpowiedziWhy? It will keep going. I won't play it. I will stop once fallout and battletits comes out. But people will keep destiny going for sure. I mean people r buying emotes with real money. That's dedication.
-
I barely played the beta because the servers didn't work so well but it was fun I admit
-
2 OdpowiedziI hated the battlefront beta.
-
I have a few remarks... 1) Prove it! 2) Could SOME of it have to do with the fact that maybe casual players (my case for instance) are realizing they can be part of the beta? 3) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY... Your post kind of makes you sound like one of those "You/who still plays destiny," by speaking things such as 'you all are up Bungies ass' and 'you desticles' etc etc... HOWEVER, I look at the authors profile and to my SUPRISE you have 3 chars, 3 different classes, all at 40 with one of them at 300... Sooooo original poster, am I to assume you were just trying to verbalize your inner struggle with being addicted to Destiny like the rest of us? Hoping that Star Wars will bring you out of the pits of darkness with the rest of us desticle thralls?
-
The Destiny BETA was much shorter, and required purchase to participate. The Battlefront BETA got extended, was equal on both consoles, amd eventually started inviting in people who hadn't pre-ordered the game. Also, Star Wars has some serious star power and it's made by Dice. While Bungie has a history of being respected, Pre-Destiny it hadn't put out a cross-platform game in while. Sadly not quite the same recognition as the guys who make Battlefield every year.

1 OdpowiedźIs there a Star Wars (Disney) Forum you can post in?
-
I don't want to play Star Wars Battlefield.
-
Honestly i don't think its even as good as the old battlefront. I don't think it'll top destiny, and if it does it'll be because of little kids who's parents will say yes to anything starwars.
-
2 OdpowiedziYour ditching activision for ea? Thats laughable. Also, destiny was a brand new ip. Star wars and the battlefront games are well established. I played the beta and decided I no longer wanted to buy the game upon release. It was fun for the first few matches, but it didnt take long to see that the game was garbage were it not for all the star wars in your face.
-
I played the stars wars beta. Played 2 rounds came back to destiny. Did not find it enjoying. The destiny beta I was hooked on.
-
Leaving activision to go to EA? You will miss The emotes when you see the doc and micro transaction prices for Battlefront.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Unicronic: 10/15/2015 4:34:45 AMHmmmm, nice maths but numbers don't tell the whole story here. Destiny - new IP launched in September 2014 STAR WARS - One of the world's most well known entertainment franchises that is nearly FORTY YEARS OLD! Did anyone actually expect a low level of interest in a Star Wars game? In a year where there will be a new Star Wars movie? If you've got no faith in Activision then I don't know how a $50 season pass attached to a $60 game published by a company who gets just as much hate is going to make you feel vindicated. TL;DR
swallow my lightsaber
Bungie has activision Dice has EA. Yeah... I'm sure we're all going to have to throw money at the screen sooner or later Get ready... Heard they only accepted the Benjamin's
