Seriously - What's the point of playing Iron Banner and Trials now?
I'm not sure I understand Bungie's rewards for the PVP activities that take light into account. You probably want to be at least 290 light to be competitive in Iron Banner, and most likely Trials as well, but if you do well your rewards are all 280 from vendor, and still probably below where you already are if playing it in the first place. What's the point in that? You're literally going backwards in light level if you want to use the rewards that require a high light level to attain. Seems like a weird Catch-22 to me.

1 OdpowiedźIron banner shouldn't be a "charity 310". 310 should be earned through raiding and other end game things.

Because for the first time ever the IB gear blows the raid gear out of the water in terms of looks (which I'm sure quite a few players take into account) and you can then infuse said glorious IB armor with poopy looking raid armor, then, you make teh monteys.......any questions?

Seen some legendary drops for team members, but very limited. I did get a legendary from a blue enagram but nothing you do not get from normal patrol The gear I received have been dismantled. All low level light, 20-30 below my light level which also seems to be true for the teams I have been into. So, playing IB, has so far, been for the learning rather than the drops.

Because you could be chasing certain perks or stats on weapons or armor. Or you just like the look of it. If you are literally just putting on every piece of high level gear you get without even looking at stats or perk setups then your playing the game wrong in my opinion. You need a set of armor and weapons that all work well together.

No point at all this time round I played it for the rewards last time, but there seems to be a lack of them, no one I've seen talk about it on here has had a great time so it's put me right off. naybe next iron banner will be better for us all.

Ive gotten 2 boots drop at 298 all 3 class items drop at 298 and the sidearm drop at 295

4 OdpowiedziMy issue is the new light lvl cap coming with hard raid presumably. The 330 exotics in the armory are a good indication of this. Hardly anyone has even reached 310 yet! I get having goals to reach but keeping the light lvl cap just barely out of our reach is a lil much

I personally like the look of the IB gear and infused my Raid Warlock bond into the IB Warlock bond. And guess what! I still have a 300 class item!

The thing that confuses me is people who do the raid gives them a better advantage in pvp due to light level. Bungie keeps saying they are learning but jeez that excuse is old

Point is for cool looking gear, not to try to hit end game light levels from IB, you can easily hit 290-300 from just doing strikes, plus 280 is the vendor light level, I've seen 295+ class items drop a few times already.

Iron Banner stuff can drop at a higher level from end math rewards. So 280 isn't the highest that you can get them base drop from

Whole reason why I want to do IB is the fact that you look like a knight for titan, the raid armour doesn't matter to me since all armour can be infused. So you have more of a choice what you look like instead of being Oryx clones
