That Warsat is ridiculous, and needs to be toned down a bit; I'm all for a good challenge, but this is ridiculous. No wonder why people exploit this part by going under the map to capture the Warsat.
I'm mainly talking Heroic Strike difficulty or harder.
Deej or Cozmo, is this something you could help get started as a fix?

2 OdpowiedziMy main problem is heroic, at the saber 2. As a defender my bubble is useless. Even with St.14 he rolls up in the middle of it like "waddup bitches, eat my minigun" There's no avoiding death in the sniper shank phase, when he is like 50% faster and 100% more aggressive.

The only problem I have is 2 manning the Warsat during the, "Fallen version." Literally it gets to the point where there's nothing but Reaver Vandals, Captains, and Dregs all sitting in the capture zone and if one person doest have a quick revive armor piece, you're pretty much fućked.

Personally I still like it but I quickly discovered that it was making other players angry. From the lack of protection to the sword welding captions to the overwhelming amount of snipers plus the cannon fire from the ships topped of with no defenses..... Well there's some reason to be mad but it just goes to show how much skill it takes and how well a team of randoms can function together. The cheese will be fixed and the strike may have a future nerf but I hope its not to drastic the heroic and Sleeper variant are supposed to be a challenge. The boss fight is fun( especially the Sleeper Simulant version ) but the boss fight isn't hard enough, if Bungie nerf's the warsat then I hope they make the boss fight more challenging.

4 OdpowiedziI only find it difficult on nightfall. But why are so many people so upset that nightfall is so hard? I mean for me it is rewarding to win legit. It makes you that much more "legend". I honestly do not understand the issue with the heroic though, I have never had to cheese it on the strike playlist. Maybe the real thing they need to address is to close up the option for the cheese. Jk jk. I like the just in case option. On the void burn we did it legit, the taken this week required extra help the first time. Second run was legit...... Just saying. Overall though some tuning isn't a bad idea. Wouldn't hurt considering so many people feel so strongly. I just like the challenge more than I like to complain I guess.

Agreed. It's a dynamic and fun strike once you get in but the start of it is classic bullshit destiny design of throwing adds at you. Now they have shit ton more majors who also have devastating blinding abilities and supercharged drop ship turrets to melt your team in an instant no matter how skilled you are.

1 OdpowiedźCrest of Alpha Lupi exotic chest for quick reviving teammates, and Defender class for the bubble. Helps a LOT. I agree, it is an extremely challenging part of the mission. And quite frankly, it's usually those damn ships that kill me as opposed to the enemies!

2 OdpowiedziIf they don't fix it, try this: Have two guys rocket the drop ship, as soon as the adds prepare to launch. Use the Warsat for cover. After first drop, a stealth vandal major will drop down--ignore him for the time being. Second add drop, rockets, again. Ignore that vandal briefly. Third add drop, one guy uses rockets, and remaining two clean up with shotty, then reset. Turn around, and repeat process, only Captain majors will spawn, and the rhythm of them leaving the ship will be a little different. Just coordinate your rockets, and try to make sure as many as possible are eliminated before they even hit the ground--that's really the key.

Majors constantly rushing you from all directions (literally all directions, you're in a god damn circle) with no cover and dropships constantly firing at you is fun and challenging, right? I mean, did they even get anyone to play test this before releasing it?

I like the rest of the Strike just fine, but I almost always cheese the Warsat on Heroic.
