I was watching a video of prodigy's were he was showing his new car, I couldn't stand it when he said " I worked so hard for this" and I'm -blam!-ing shouting "NO YOU HAVEN'T YOU HAVE SAT ON YOU FUCKING ASS AND PLAYED A VIDEO GAME !"
He has manipulated stupid minds to give this man child money, and then he goes and drives way over the speed limit and land himself with a $1000 fine, which will come out of donations, yet go on his stream and there still throwing money at him and subscribing.
All these streamers act like there job is so hard, when it's playing a form of entertainment for hours on end. And expecting people to give them money for some shit incentives.
Sorry if I sound butthurt but I think its a bit fucked up...
So I can see a pattern...
...there is 4 types of people here:
1.the one who agrees with what I say.
2.the one who says "depends what streamer it is"
3.the kids who are passionate about 30 year old pale men playing video games on camera.
4.the ones who think I'm jealous, so funny, nuff said

Sounds like you are jelly..... Its not easy playing focussed for like 6-8 hours straight. Because thats what they are doing. And even when things go wrong, they cant rage quit like we can. They have to deal with all the viewers that keep asking the same question over and over and over again. And to make a good stream, they have to invest alot first. They cant just do the same thing every day or talk about the same things every day because viewers will get bored. Its all about the viewers they have that counts. Subs and donations are just bonusses. I agree that not every streamers deserves it. They just focus on "subs only" things forcing people to sub. But there are alot out there that arent doing it for the money. At most they ask you to follow the chanel, and that is free. They are the ones that just want you to have a good time while watching the stream. So if you really are looking for a streamer like that, just go look for them. They are out there.

Unless they steam full time but while they are streaming they are making food at McDonald's
-
Playing destiny as a full time job sounds like work to me..... Poor destiny streamers like really, I know they can't enjoy that game that much. No way. You can tell they are in pissy moods MOST of the time.

By the power of Talos, I summon Butthurt!

1 OdpowiedźIsn't that the life huh ? Getting g paid to do the same thing everyday. That's his destiny
-
See I assume you're upset because you find games fun nd shit. It is crazy they make bank, BUUUUT I doubt they enjoy playing simply because, well, it's kinda their full-time. All they do is play games, so they are probably bored most of the time....

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika milkisforbabies: 10/8/2015 8:52:15 PMThey wouldn't make a living if it wasnt for kids. I'm fine with it though. One day they will need a real job and have to explain that they were unemployed for years on end playing video games, try to dress it up like "I was in partnership with twitch" which will mean nothing more to employers than "you filmed yourself playing games instead of working"
-
Edytowany przez użytkownika Urks: 10/8/2015 9:05:31 PMI completely agree. But on the other hand, I do enjoy watching streams.... But yeah, Prodigy's an ignorant asshole.
-
As I am planning to do this for a living and I know a few others who do it already, there is alot of work most people never see, stress we never know about, so much more it may surprise you.
-
2 OdpowiedziI haven't heard of the streamer you're talking about (not really into twitch) and I don't know what kind of person he is but you just sound jealous. Some people are mechanics, some people are lawyers, some people are artists and some are entertainers. There are all different kinds of jobs out there. Streamers are entertainers. They aren't just sitting there playing games, at least the good ones aren't, they're entertaining people. I play a lot of games and I can tell you that no one would give a -blam!- if I streamed every second of every game I play. Streaming isn't something just anyone can do. That's why there aren't millions of people just "sitting on their asses playing video games" and getting paid for it.
-
Here's the thing - it's not hard like manual labor - but it IS hard to get many engaged viewers. It's the same outside video games too. Money goes to those who work the system in their favor - education/networking/bit of luck. Not sweat alone. Just ask a maid or farmer. Hard work, low cash. Money is not proportional to hard work. Money comes from having a valuable skill that others will trade for.
-
Who cares what they do? Let them do there thing
-
4 OdpowiedziI you have not worked a shit job in your life then you are lazy af and have no right to say you "worked hard". If you worked a shit job before you became a streamer than I won't care because you know what hard work actually is when compared.
-
You can view everything on manipulation if you want. It's a choice to pay a streamer money, just like it's a choice for you to have something against him for making money streaming.
-
I guess you should stop going to see movies or watching TV in general those people just say some lines
-
Its an entertainment job. Just like actors in hollywood, news anchors, etc. so i don't think this counts as a lazy job.
-
11 OdpowiedziI voted yes. But in all honesty I sit at a desk with three monitors consisting of Netflix, bungie forums, and various shopping websites. I work on an actual assignment maybe two days out of each month. So I mean, they're getting paid to do more than I do. I probably make more than them though.

1 OdpowiedźYou are dumb and ignorant

The masses have spoken
-
Just a moderate opinion coming through. I don't think someone job makes them lazy or pathetic, but I do think if streaming is so easy and profitable then everyone should do it. Right? Anyone? Mmk.
-
2 OdpowiedziDude I know your jealous, join the billion strong club.
-
3 OdpowiedziLazy and pathetic. Yet brilliant
-
10 OdpowiedziI imagine most of the streamers you're jealous of spent more time in school than you did, with English like that.
-
7 OdpowiedziIt's not a easy to build an audience. Streaming everyday in front of thousands is definitely not easy. What you consider laziness may be hard work for someone else. It's all about your own limits.
