This isn't only about exotics, if you could make a year 1 gun that you have as strong as the year 2 guns what would it be?

VoC for sure, corrective measure was always solid too. I do wish the vex was still useful

Tough call. I loved using Visions of Confluence. I also had a Broken Truth LR1 sniper (arc, firefly) that was distinctly fun. Most used gun though would be Efrideet's Spear (Clown Cartridge, Field Scout) and Another NitC (AP and Firefly). The Efrideet's were ruined by the nerf to Field Scout, so bringing them into Year 2 would be a bit of a waste. It's the armour I want to upgrade to year 2. I don't recognise my own character in the Crucible intro sequence. And why the hell did they change Mark of the Exodus (hunter cloak) to look so crappy? It's a year 1 130 armour, it's not like I get to wear it for anything other than social occasions any more, and they basically bleached it. It looks like it's been washed too many times. Don't hunters use colour-safe detergent? I suppose that's one secret they didn't learn from Warlocks. No shader out there that can return it to its former glory.
