My question, is why do you play your class and what do you enjoy about them? I like to call myself a support player, when running strikes, I usually go Defender on Titan or Nightstalker on my hunter and make it my mission in life to generate as many orbs as possible for my fireteam. My Nova Bombs usually hit maybe three or four targets, generating a paltry two orbs, I rarely generate much more than five at a time with Storm Caller and Sunsinger, so I usually feel like I don’t contribute much in team synergy.
So Warlock mains, or people who keep their Warlocks around, is there a reason why you play them besides possible class exclusive quests in the future?

I enjoy soloing a lot so I run selfrez so I have insurance

Because I'm not a support player. Unless I'm in a raid or trials I could give a damn less about helping my teams mates

6 OdpowiedziGo Sun Singer with Radiant Skin in Mayhem. Thank me later.

In raids and nightfalls it always helps to have a 1UP.

here is what i role when i go supportive warlock - Sunsinger. Orbs may not be the important thing, however there are many other ways to support. Solar grenades. Any jump. Song of flame, for normal Pve, fireborn in raids/nightfall. (With song of flame, you can help out with crowd control, which is not bad) Flame shield/Brimstone (Brimstone is not bad in a group of thralls) Sunburst. (Make Two orbs 50% chance on scorch) Gift of the Sun You can help out in other ways.

Stormcaller is an ad melter, Majors included. My setups: Medic/PVE: Class one: Stormcaller/Landfall/Storm Grenade/Arc Web/ melee chain to other enemies. Light Beyond Nemesis, armor, and gauntlets that grant orbs from arc double and precision kills, Zhalo Supercell, arc sniper, Bolt Caster, high recovery, medium agility and armor. This is a good pve class, you're moving fast and with LBN, you get fast revives too. :P Class two: Stormcaller, landfall/ superconductor/storm grenade/ Arc web/ melee chain. Impossible Machines, helmet that grants recovery for melee kills/same boots and chest/Suros PDX pulse rifle/ 1000 yard Stare/ Thunderlord. This class is an ad slayer, and an orb machine, this is the class I run for most pve activities. Pvp: Stormcaller, arc bolts, landfall/ ionic blink/ further melee range/ High recovery, medium armor and agility/ Arc web Impossible Machines, same as pve class 2 armor, Suros PDX/ hawkmoon/ red death/ Monte Carlo/ y2 Suros, patch a, or 1000 stare, Thunderlord/bolt caster/ random blue rocket with tripod. This class pretty much speaks for itself. You're a fast, blinding, shocking machine, with ionic blink and the perk that makes it so your super last longer with full melee/ grenade, you'll be a phantom, too fast to even see coming. It's pretty boss :P

Radiant skin with sword. As for my storm caller build I run Tlaloc with claws for the double melee. If you check my build you will see a warlock that can have infinite melee/grenades if done right and for bosses I just sit on my super for the Tlaloc buff and if adds need to be cleared I use my super and then gather orbs from team mates to go back to the boss. It works really well. Try it sometime.

I've always been fascinated with advanced science and magics of any type. Warlock was my first and main choice and I don't regret it. My play-style of a Warlock is based on the subclasses of course. Voidwalker - Orb spawning / Add Control Obsidian Mind & Bad Juju combo w/ Shatter Perk for Nova Bomb for maximum spread. Sunsinger - Sentinel / Aggression Heart of the Praxic Fire & Red Death w/ Radiant Skin for maximum aggression and survival on the front lines. Stormcaller - Add Control / Aggression Impossible Machines & Zhalo Supercell w/ Superconductor and Feedback. For the uptight aggression needed for add control.

Edytowany przez użytkownika MJVigs: 10/6/2015 11:58:14 AMSolar grenade Song of flame Flame shield Sunburst Gift of the sun This gives me survivability with a flame shield and two area denial grenades, along with massive Orb generation and cool downs for everyone with song of flame and sunburst (which has a pretty good chance of making 2 orbs on a melee kill). Couple that with claws of ahamkara. Boom. I use it in raids all the time, and for some reason I get so much hate for not using self rez. Even though if I do have rez on I never get to use it. Hope this helps :)

Edytowany przez użytkownika Tw1St3D xCHA0Sx: 10/6/2015 11:01:16 PMon my warlock i use him a bunch in strikes as either a stormcaller or sunsinger, and use the light beyond nemis or heart of the praxic fire. Light beyond because it generates more orbs, and the praxic fire for HELLA grenades and melees while in radiance. I use radiance offensively instead of as the ability to res. stormcaller i just use super when there a bunch of dude, majors or ultras or lower ads, since i use the ability to bounce the lightning to like 4 or 5 targets instead of one or 2.

I love Warlocks because of their glides and abilities. The Stormcaller was just a great addition. Plus, the magic element of being a Warlock stood out to me when I first started playing; since everyone else I knew went off picking a Hunter or Titan. So, I'm not sure I can list all of the things I like about the Warlock, but I'm mostly sure I'm mainly drawn to the intelligent, stoic nature labelled onto them. And of course, magic.

4 OdpowiedziSunsinger: Song of flame or self rez is a very strong support setup Stormtrance: 6-8 orbs with enough mobs. Can clear through ridiculous amounts of tier 1s. Landfall can blind any enemy that's not a strike/raid boss Voidwalker: Tons of damage on single/multiple enemies in a certain area. Strongest grenades in the game too.

Warlocks are my main...just always liked them over the other 2
-
Just liked them more for some reason.. even before the game came out the thought of space magic just sounded like a lot of fun. I love all three but warlock is my bae. Plus I always pissed my hunter buddy off with the warlock blink shotgun/melee combo. He loves it.
-
I run all three classes, still working in my hunter. I'll run any sub, I don't stick to just one. Bad Juju and obsidian mind is a good combo. When using sunsinger I have self rez but tend to pop my super and either melee or grenade everything more than self rez. Stormcaller is great on adds or the 3 wizards in CoO. Should be getting Y2 Bad Juju and Tlaloc tomorrow.

I chose the warlock because the aura he was holding was purple and it was my favorite color. I've tried other characters but the warlock to me is my favorite

Rez, bloom, and ad control

Stormcaller is amazing for ads- plus i like glide

I use Void walker to kill things, during the raid I do most of the relic stuff, and platform jumping V. Oryx. I use my teammates for buffs. I cast Novabomb when I have said buffs from titans and hunters to increase lethality, and generate more orbs as a result. Vortex grenade helps teammates get to safety if overwhelmed, Radiance is very helpful but I've always been a day one Voidwalker.
