Well eris was in contact with Mara sov and Osiris and she was not brainwashed and turned into a hive looking thing it was toland who taught her how to survive in the hell mouth and it was eris who put the hive eyes into her own head . I do believe she was speaking to the queen at the end of the story but it seemed as if eris only new that Mara sov survived oryxs attack
