Why do people still use op year 1 weapons?
So, every game, there is that one guy who has a matador or a messenger. Why?
Is it because you are not good enough to succeed with new, balanced weapons?
Before people say I'm jealous or whatever, I have a matador, BTRD and lots more.
Imo, people who do this ruin what would otherwise be a great pvp experience.

Edit: I seem to have worded this badly. I don't care if people use ldr invectives etc. I am only complaining about things such as the matador and messenger that are still op.
Edit 2: lol so much hate. Never done this before it's really fun.
Edit 3: wow this has really taken off! As suggested in a comment, I will suggest an alternative to some of the weapons I'm complaining about:
Messenger- red death, similar RoF/Impact but with slightly more recoil. Will work well in IB next week.
Shotgun: the new monarchy vendor version is a beast
Edit 4: woah! 730 replies. This is quite interesting, at the moment I'd say it's about 50:50 between agreement and hate

27 OdpowiedziI replaced. Felwinters > conspiracy theory Longbow synth > 1000 yard stare 55a allfate > ???? Until I find an allfate replacement I'll continue to use it, I can't find anything even close to it, anyone know a good replacement? I've heard the hawksaw but it's stability isn't as good.

I generally don't. I use Hard Light and Broken Truth, but that's just because I haven't found anything I like better. Iron Boner is going to be a sad affair. I'll have to leave my babies behind for the first time in PvP.

Yep. When I play Crucible, which isn't often, I go back to The Frenzy if The Vortex isn't doing it for me. Both fusion rifles. The Frenzy is the HoW FWC fusion rifle, and The Vortex is TTK FWC fusion rifle.

There are plenty of shotguns that replace the old ones. The amount of times I've been killed by a shotgun with ridiculous fire rate it's stupid.

1 OdpowiedźI mean...the weapons' attack doesn't matter in PvP so why would anyone spend marks or grind to get new gear? People can efficiently use the year one weapons as they're only useful in PvP now,I don't use them anymore but I have a lot of year one weapons that took me a lot of time to get,I'd never stop using them just because people think I gotta move on,the majority of the year one stuff was left behind and has no use in PvE...at least let people use what they worked hard for in PvP

4 OdpowiedziI don't understand why that would bother anybody. If somebody blasted you on your back with a Felwinters or a Found Verdict, they could've just as easily did it with one of the new shottys. Seems like everybody here has an issue with any weapon that kills them in pvp. It's silly.
