Who else has gotten REALLY bad at the Crucible since The Taken King dropped?
It can't just be me who's gone through this. Ever since The Taken King dropped, it seems that I am absolutely horrible in the crucible now. The frustrating part is that I can't put on my finger on why. Anyone else really struggling in PVP lately?

I used to only go pvp during IB. So now that I have a reason to go in everyday, I actually think I've gotten better. For the first time I'm on the hunt for the perfect pvp gun.

If it has, it hasn't much. I just need to find some weapons I like since I didn't keep my year 1 guns. I still go at least 2.0 on average, but before when I was using my favorite Pulse Rifles (Time on Target and Super Pox VLO) it was far easier for me to go 3.0 if not higher.

I've noticed a slight decline in my skills, but I've been switching up weapons a lot so I'm not used to some of these load outs yet. Not really bothering since I don't take regular Crucible seriously lol

I know I got smoked quite a few times getting crucible sword kills

I think I'm just having a bad time adjusting to the snipers and accuracy nerfs. I think they also changed the ammo UI too.

I get wrecked in mayhem but it's the most fun so it's worth it.

I just didn't play PVP once TTK dropped. So starting this week in getting more into it to be ready for IB and Trials. I have good primaries and a decent shotty. Hoping the Eirene that drops the this week has good rolls to it

Thank god the thorn is gone, next step is to delete it from the database and never look back.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Obviation: 10/7/2015 12:45:21 AMSame happened to me. Its mainly due to the weapons being reworked experiment with some weapons and find what suits you. Id suggest a good scout or pulse rifle (mida and bad juju/red death).

May boil down to finding the right weapon for you. I sucked at the beginning while trying to find the right primary that fit my style of play. Then doing quests throws me out of my my style as well. Just hang in there.

Edytowany przez użytkownika RoflBiscuit: 10/7/2015 12:28:58 AMI switched to Scout Rifles. There are none that can compete with Hung Jury, Treads Upon Stars, or my main scout rifle the Cryptic Dragon. It seems I actually got somewhat better switching over, plus I have more fun.

Probably your combined 30k kills between thorn, tlw, hawkmoon and shotguns. Main warlock tells me blink shotgun mixed with some handcannon sniping. Not hating because I did the same shit with my hunter, but that's probably why man.

Better than before with less bogus long range shotgun deaths but people still use them, starting to really miss my MIDA

I've been doing a ton better actually. No more thorn in my side. Ha get it! All joking aside I like the balance of it a lot more.

Even if you weren't an avid user of these, you grew used to fighting them for 6 months straight and learned to counter them. Now with the DLC, the crucible is far more unpredictable as everyones loadout is very different. The style you developed to counter a TLW in a CQ situation doesn't apply against a scout from the other end of the map. The best way to improve is with 3v3 game modes like elimination or skirmish. Even rumble is a good one seeing as you're completely reliant on your own wits.
