Would PvP Be Better Without Shotguns?
I have always felt like weapons such as shotguns and swords should never be starting weapons because they are too easy to kill with and are weapons that cause frustration which in turn makes multiplayer less fun and addicting IMO.
So whats your guys opinion?

Im not much of a sniper. I have snipers and i get snipers that are good from what i read or hear. I dont use them though. Im just not good with them and theyre not for my playstyle. I like shotguns. I like rushing. I like heart pounding cqc. Shotgun is my life.

lol! Removing shotguns from PVP would be awesome to those that DON'T use shotguns. Much like removing the smell of curry to those that DON'T like curry would be awesome. The logic in this forum blows my mind. I mean, no offense really, but it just comes of as selfish.

It's easy as hell to destroy one of these shotgun rushers with a primary because they can't kill you from fusion range. If someone closes the gap on me and sticks a shotgun to my chest I deserve the death. It would be nice if there was a no special and no heavy playlist though.

People will blame all sorts of issues on shotguns. Shotguns are actually pretty balanced after the last nerf. They have specific pathing where they can be used similar to how snipers have certain sight lines they can use. Most people that complain about shotguns don't understand how to rotate around the map, or even if they're in an area that benefits the shotgun over other weapons.

No, you are asking to ban weapons from the crucible. If you ban shotguns and/or swords another gun will go to the top and then what? Are you just going to ban that one to.

Shotguns are not the problem, the base range of the shotguns people stick to *COUGH CONSPIRACY THEORY-D COUGH* need to get toned the F down. If a type of fun gets more hate then an SB Titan from the community, there is a problem.

3 OdpowiedziLet's say shotguns weren't in the game Most people would turn to snipers rather than fusion rifles, because let's face it, the charge time is slow compared to a weapon that can kill you with a single headshot So now, everyone's hanging back and not really out there in the dog fight How would this be any fun? People walking slowly everywhere, no one moving out into the line of fire Shotguns ensure people have a reason to actually get in each others faces

1 OdpowiedźTake away shotguns and you'd just be getting shot by snipers camping at the edges of the map, at least with shotguns it encourages CQB and you stand a chance depending on your reactions and weapons.

They should just make custom matches, it would be easy and then people who hate shotguns or snipers or swords or whatever all else can play the way they want. I don't care much, crucible seems good right now to me but just do it, so many people would have to find something else to cry about.

They need to take out the felwinters arc type, and make it so shotguns require a full pump action before you can meelee with it

8 OdpowiedziEveryone should use sidearms! Like seriously how come no one uses side arms? They're so much fun! I just wish bungie slightly adjusted the recoil but aside from that sidearms are awesome.
