Friendly raid group gathering place
EDIT 10/20/15: I have posted a link to a poll (because I can't figure out how to embed one in the OP) seeing how many people this thread is actually benefiting. If you have a minute, answer a quick yes or no to the poll. Thanks.
I would have posted this in the LFG section, but considering most of those folks have a superiority complex going for them, I figured I would post this here.
I've noticed a lot of the threads that have been started have all been "looking for experienced raiders, 300+ light, black spindle a must" type posts. I'm not bashing them in any way, as they are allowed to have their raid requirements. No one knows what their schedule allows, so they may just need a group to run through quickly.
This post is in place as the opposite to that. I have seen equally as many people wondering where everyone who is laid back and would like to go through the raid for the first or maybe second time are at. If this gets buried here so be it, but hopefully it gets some traction to allow first time raiders a chance to go through the raid with a group of patient, friendly people who just want to complete the raid. Reply to this with the following:
1. Light level (this shouldn't matter but as long as you're at 290 you should be fine)
2. Network you play on
3. Gamertag

I've got the Oryx checkpoint with my Warlock and the Golgoroth checkpoint on my titan. I'd like to finish the raid over the next couple of days. However, I had to leave a group earlier due to the inane and incessant whining of one individual. Gaming for me is about enjoyment, meeting others looking to enjoy a challenge but without moaning like a violin. Yep, I realise I'm moaning now. But, I'm simply looking to join a team of chilled out guardians who want to complete the raid and see the funnier side of life. Please message or add if you're able to help. Online tomorrow 10am gmt.

I actually had the randoms I was raiding with yesterday mention the fact that our raid group (of 4) was one of the most chill raid with randoms experience he's had. He was expecting all seriousness and quiet but we just chat up the entire time and chill and have fun. If we -blam!- up, we don't care. They were also amazed when they saw me fly with the shadowshot glitch across the jump puzzle :P

My tag is IRELLIKI on Ps4 if anyone needs help I am on most nights. I have been through the raid on all my characters and would like to help someone learn in a positive way.

Bump. I just joined a group where the leader was nearly insufferable. He was just completely elitist and rude to everyone. But we beat it and myself who is great at listening and communication couldn't help but feel bewildered. There is no reason to maintain such an attitude in a video game. Not everyone has time to learn the raid the very first week it is released and reach 305 light plus and grab black spindle etc. We did fine without his attitude. Give people a chance and show some common courtesy. His behavior was completely unnecessary.

I don't mind helping people. Helped a few groups this week. Was awesome hearing the lads cheer when they got warpriest, was great getting the golgoroth kill after he enraged and we were 95% blind (so clutch) not to mention the group I helped on witches and we only had seconds to spare on the dirge (or whatever it is). 3 seperate groups and 3 happy groups when they finally clutched the kill I'm only an average player but I have patience and am willing to help if people are capable and willing to learn.
