TLDR: Bungie wants to take away the ability to post on the forums if you don't have Destiny. All the halo fans and marathon fans, gone. Even if you didn't play those games and you have Destiny, can't you at least admit this isn't fair?

It's ridiculous that they have nothing better to do than complain about a game they don't play. Of course some will go to the trouble of renting a copy and creating a character just to be able to post.

Sorry-not-sorry, Improv. But I have to agree with Bungie's decision. If you don't have a linked Destiny account, you don't really need to be posting on the forums for Destiny. While I'm sure not all unlinked posters are trolls, I can't even count the number of times I've read trollish, exaggerated and just plain whiny posts and checked the author's profile only to see "This account has not played Destiny." If the poster hasn't played / doesn't play Destiny why are they here? If they do play, why don't they just link their account? Too many people just trying to stir shit up.

I've got a Destiny app. I can only see Destiny forums. If you're a legit player this changes nothing for you. I mean, did you read what the post said? Do you know what it means? It means that people who deleted their characters on the game but go around shitting on everyone's positive feedback won't be able to do that anymore. And that's why the did this. Unfortunately there's a lot of assholes who literally are just here to troll who haven't deleted their characters. Unfortunately they will still able to act like people go don't hate the game are the bad guys. But hey, let's hope they make a feedback forum for purchasers of TTK so we can all get back to actual feedback about in game content or ideas for the future. They will not be missed. Edit: and before anyone freaks out you'll still be able to access other parts of the forums just not the Destiny ones. If you're not playing Destiny you don't really need to be here
