What class is the most likely to go crazy and turn against us, joining the darkness?
Edit: It's awsome reading some of your theories.. It seems like warlocks will betray us..
Edit 2: Even warlocks agree that they will be the one betraying us.. kill them while we can

77 OdpowiedziIf we look at the taken we look at the essence of Darkness. Oryx does not make the taken he merely finds those suitable to be corrupted and then leads them. The darkness itself speaks to them, coddles them, and molds them into a new weapon a stronger weapon. The darkness can claim guardians, but this is much harder to pull off. For one to be corrupted they must have lost hope. A guardian that has lost hope will have lost his light. This is because the power of light is not the final axiom, like the darkness, but rather light is the will to make the axiom a false conclusion. Light will die when the will to stop the final axiom ends. When a guardian losses his will he gives himself to the darkness as only the dark can replace the light. Looking at the classes we must see the stereotypical traits to see who will be the ones that have the greatest chance to lose their light and be taken by the darkness. The hunter is a thrill seeker, treasure hunter, and lone wolf. The hunter fights for their ideals and self gain. The hunter fights because they can not because they have to. They find joy in destroying the darkness. The hunter sees the fight against the darkness as a game in which they always have the upper hand. If they view the battle against the darkness as a game they can't lose then how would they become corrupted? They only become corrupted when they lose. When they hold the shredded pieces of their ghost, and watch as their enemies surround them. Only then will the darkness strike at their heart, and attempt to save them from eternal rest, and instead put them on course for the final axiom. The titan is a defender, and field commander. The titan fights to protect others, and to preserve the ideals of another, usually a warlock. The titan fights because they feel duty to protect the city. They find pride in destroying the darkness. The titan sees the fight against the darkness as a never ending battle in which we're always on the defensive or on the counterattack. If they view the battle against the darkness as a duty, and as a defensive measure how are they corrupted? They only become corrupted when they fail to protect. When they watch as their fireteam is consumed by their enemies they will have lost all of their pride. Without their pride and without their duty the titan is a husk. When light leaves a husk the darkness must enter. When the darkness enters they find a new sense of duty. A new ally to protect. Their duty becomes the final axiom, and their ally becomes the darkness itself. The warlock is a philosopher, strategist, and magician. The warlock fights out of greed much like the hunter and titan. The greed of the warlock isn't one of pride like the titan, or prestige like the hunter. The greed of the warlock is one of knowledge. The warlock consumes all it can to learn more about everything the universe hides from their eyes. They view the fight against the darkness as another step forward in enlightenment. How do you corrupt a being who only wishes to obtain enlightenment? You whisper to them. You show them the knowledge the darkness offers. When they are on the edge of the corruption you show them the final axiom; you show them enlightenment. When you give them what they have been searching for for decades and sometimes centuries they will bow to your will. They will seek your guidance as you have shown them the truth.

1 Odpowiedźwarlocks to escape the drama

Edytowany przez użytkownika Keoji: 10/16/2015 5:54:06 PMWarlock here, I wouldn't say we'd turn to the darkness, but warlocks would more than likely leave the traveler if offered more knowledge, not helping the fallen or anything but would kill any hunter or Titan who stood in the way of that knowledge. Let us not forget the titans have that rogue group sunbreaker so maybe them as well. Hunters are most likely to stay with the light.

4 OdpowiedziToland is a darkness crazed Warlock. Eris is a crazy Hunter who is tainted by the darkness. No darkness touched Titan.... I am going to have to go Warlock>Hunter>Titan.
-
Wizards= tortured warlocks | cabal= brainwashed and injected titans | vandals= alienated hunters | think about it.
-
I main warlocks and can easily say we'd be the first to turn to the darkness. Pretty obvious, most warlocks in the lore go mad in their conquest for knowledge
-
I'm a Warlock and Warlocks will join before Hunters and Titans.
-
Titans because they're dimwitted
-
Im gonna quote someone here. Not really a warlock but one could easily mistake him for a stormcaller. "POOOWEEEER, UNLIMITED POOOOWEEEER!!" Warlocks are -blam!-ed.

3 OdpowiedziI main a Warlock and its 100% Warlocks would be the first to join the darkness. Warlocks seek knowledge..they would go to great lengths to acquire this knowledge, and if this meant joining the darkness, they would do so.

1 OdpowiedźWhy do I feel like soon there is going to be lore on some Titan who went to the darkness in hopes of obtaining power to give the city a fighting chance. "You think you are alive because you can fight? You are alive because of what I did to save you!"

1 OdpowiedźWarlocks. But not for reasons of betrayal. Purely because we are naturally seekers of forbidden knowledge and sources of power. Everything is in equilibrium. We would be doing ourselves a terrible disservice and would be internally imbalanced if we only learnt from the Light and took nothing from the Darkness. "Is it possible to learn this power..?" "... Only from a Warlock." ;)
-
2 OdpowiedziWould be great in destiny 2 if we could get darkness powers but still fight against them
-
So basically warlocks are jedi or go to the dark side? Guess so
-
I don't think any class will go fully to the dark but I think that the warlocks will be exiled like Osiris was just because they are always seeking knowledge and may go too far like Osiris did.
