Can't get the Chaperone (Editing in Progress. OMG I'm so close... VICTORY IS MINE)
With a kd of about 1 I'm an average PvP player at best... completing the first step of this quest is simply beyond my skills.
While watching the promos The Chaperone was the ONE gun I really wanted. On the one hand I'm very disappointed that I'll never get it, on the other I'm happy that elite PvP players will finally have a trophy that must be earned!
To those of you good enough to earn it, I salute you. I've given up on it.

Edit: After writing this post I decided I wasn't going to chicken out. I'm back at it. Currently at 12%
Edit 2: Had a break-even match. Sill at 12%
Edit 3: Pretty good match. At 21%
Edit 4: Bad wreckage. Back to 15%
Edit 5: OMG AMAZING MATCH. At 43%
Edit 6: Match was going sour, so I unequipeed TLW. Back to 41%
Edit 7: AMAZING MATCH... 67%
Edit 8: Minor setback. 58%
Edit 9: Slow progress. 69% (Giggidy)
Edit 10: OMG I'M SO CLOSE 87%
Edit 11: I got a little too excited. Down to 84%
Edit 12: OMG I'M SO CLOSE 96%
Edit 13: YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG I GOOOT ITTT! You guys are awesome, you kept me going. This community is AMAZING!!!
Edit 14: I'm 15k Glimmer poorer. Back to the crucible. Off to get shotugn kills.
Edit 15: Shotgun part was a breeze! Shield Brothers now... rounding up 2 friends!
Edit 16: Wow, the strike was amazing! So much fun! We wrecked them good! (maybe it helped that I was 306 light)
You guys are so awesome! You kept me going! You're a HUGE reason of why I enjoy this game so much. I can't wait for reset!

1 OdpowiedźI wonder what the average time is for everybody that completed the first crucible part. Took me about 2 hours. I tried control, was getting nowhere, then I played clash. I brought my k/d up by like 0.20 and got the nastiest snipes with my Tao sniper. I feel like all u have to do is stay behind ur teammates and stay in ur general spawn area, and eventually you'll get it

7 OdpowiedziMe and my friends have a VERY hard time with shield brothers be one 1 of us was 294, me being 276, and my other friends was 256.... It was rough XD but we did it!!

So frustrating, I'm in the shotgun part now. Then the brothers. Hope this gun is worth it!

I really don't like the last word. But I love lever actions so I simply had to obtain the chaperone. Looking forward to its delivery Tuesday. I'm hoping the next expansion adds a lever action rifle, such as a Winchester or Henry repeater, as a scout or sniper. I dont think I would ever use another exotic

Took me a week to do. This officially my least liked quest. Right above the thorn one.

3 OdpowiedziI got lucky. I got 2 kills then used my super, 4 golden gun shots and that gave me 43%. I was super excited !

1 OdpowiedźIf you just go on long streaks it's easy but stressful. I did all of it yesterday and it was tough until you went on that streak, which sometimes didn't happen for a game or two. It just made me realize how much TLW sucks now lol.

4 OdpowiedziKeep plugging away, pal. Took me MONTHS to finish the invective bounty ( look at my k/d you'll see why!), but I got there in the end! I'll try for this one, too. Probably complete it when destiny 3 comes out!
