My attempts at Jolly Holliday - Day 2
Hello, I'm not having any luck or fun with this quest, so I thought I'd share my misery in this forum post.
Starting percent - 0%
The first match went all right. I got a couple double kills and ended the match at 4%
The second match didn't go quite as well. I think I got an even 1.0 k/d, so I ended at 0%
The third match went about as well as the first. I ended at 4%
The fourth match was like the second. I ended at 0%
I'm sensing a pattern. And I'm also not having fun so far. :(
Fifth match 4%
Sixth match 0%
"Error code: honeydew"
Looks like I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow with another progress update

Got 67% my first round went 4.30 k/d or something then took me forever after that played at least 10 rounds

That's how it was for me at first, then after one match it jumped up to like 27 percent. Then the next match 47 percent. Then I grinded out a few more games to finish.

3 OdpowiedziI have a 1.1 KD and I actually managed to do this in about 3 games. Here's what you need to do: Start a rift game without your TLW equipped, build up your super and camp near the spark. When spark is almost ready, equip your TLW and super the spark, after that remove TLW. Alternatively, you can join a game with TLW equipped, sit near your rift the entire time and wait for people to come to you. When heavy ammo pops up, unequip TLW and try to go for the Heavy (Best if you have a MG). As soon as you grab the heavy, run back to your rift and just wait until most enemies have used up their heavy. Re-equip your TLW and try to camp the spark line of sight, or wait by your rift. I went for 65%-100% using this method, when on a 15+ streak. You goal is not to win, rather to get kills not die. It's like playing dirty and camp corner to get your AC-130 Killstreak, bait your enemy to you, do go out and directly engage.

When you load in find a obscure spot out of the way of the main traffic areas. Then finally tell your friend where you are then either let him kill you or invite a friend who is terrible at crucible. [spoiler]If your a PvE person like me then this is your best bet to get the -Blam!- out of the crucible in the quickest way possible with the next step of the mission.[/spoiler] Shield brother is matchmaking btw, at some point you with have to fight 290 light versions. Whittle John Cenaa down to low HP then shot gun his face. (Save your supers for John Cena, once he's dead you basicly win.) Then same with Blastoise Whittle him down and shotty although becareful because he has John Cenas melee.

Your match K/D isn't what really matters, it's the amount of kill streaks you can string together. The more kills you can stack in a row, the faster your percentage will climb. Remember: each kill gives you 1%, but every death deducts 2%, so trading kills actually makes you lose progress. Also, load up the classic 6v6 crucible playlist. It's nothing but year one maps. You might have better luck.

1 OdpowiedźEquip tlw, immediately switch to 1000 yard stare, camp the shit out of an objective (rift or control), try for multi kills. Use the heavy as a trap, don't pick it up unless your radar is clear. If you move around always be with a team member or two. Bonus points if you ever actually kill someone with tlw

Go with killstreaks. Get shot = Run, Get a kill =run away to safety, Recharge your shields and wait. Heavy round, get a machine gun and don't rush in. You want to wait it out a little until the heavy phase is slowly pushed out. Stick with your machine gun in guerrilla warfare. You know you're doing it right when you still have heavy ammo for when heavy drops next. or when your heavy is depleted and you still haven't died yet. By the end of the game you should at least have 15-25 kills with 5 or less deaths. Repeat one more time. Bingo.

Just play confidently get those streaks 3-4 kills at a time,even slow killstreaks rack in huge points it's moree important to NOT die than get kills. When you stray too far from team, chances are enemy spawn will flip and you will die there so stay with them, if you get a good % done and realize the enemy team is too good, salvage ur score n find a new game. There's a few medals that give points too i was getting around 4 % randomly at the end of the match. Play close to your team, it's not like they're giving you a trash weapon to do it with, TLW is one of the best.

I was having the same problems. F this quest! Here's what to do. Only equip TLW if... Your about to win the match (3% increase). Your super is ready, equip and smash faces, un-equip tlw. Heavy drop time is risky, if you think you can get some kills cool but if not don't equip. Goal is to only go up. Seriously I can sleep now that I've reached 100%. Good luck!

Crouch and have ur friends come to you. Remember headshots give u more, and dont forget to repay the favor to them. And good luck with the last quest if u cant do this, 290 shield bros, have to kill them with shotguns.

Just play with a gun u like, when u get a super swap to last word, get a couple kills swap back to fun gun. Repeat. Also swap to last word before u win a match

I've put this out there before and I'll share it with you. 1. Chose classic Playlist: you know the maps and lesser competition, sort of. 2. Make sure you have a high impact lmg and wait for heavy. 3. Secure heavy and make sure you're in a nice quite spot. 4. Equip your last word 5. Watch your bottom left hud for enemy deaths. Let them use all their rockets and such. .6. Now you come out and win every gun fight with your lmg. Take your time use cover camp 8f you have to. 7. You should go 5/6 and 0 and if you run out if ammo go hide and unequip last word. Rinse repeat. You're welcome
