Court of Oryx, the greatest idea nobody uses.

I always check but I think it'd be more popular if the high access rubes could be available more without buying from Eris or RNG. I love the tier three but the only time I got an antiquated rune was increasing my faction rep to rank 5

1 OdpowiedźThe best solution to this would have been putting the court in the same area that people spawn into the dreadnaught. That way people patroling for any reason would see it in session right away and be inclined to head over.

I haven't even hardly had chance to play the court yet. There's so many quests to do

I still enjoy it. I even sit there and do tier 1 solo sometimes. My favorite guy is vorlog. 7 seconds is my best time on him using the hunter bow solo

From my experiences so far with the Court sadly I am unimpressed! First for the reason you have mentioned but I believe there is nobody there because it's already been weeded out as a waste of time compared to other things you can do in the game for better loot. I spent a good few hours on the court with nothing (Some blue engrams which turned into 260ish light level gear) to show for my time spent. Where as at least if I run some heroic strikes I've got a higher chance of picking up something useful. Again that's just my opinion, which I hope will change in the future if they can make it more interesting and enticing.

1 OdpowiedźIt's a ghost town... give it a couple more weeks and it will be completely avoided. The content becomes overly stale with the same bosses in the same small area all doing the same thing. And soon no one will need blue engrams.

1 OdpowiedźI got 300 rare boots for my hunter yesterday from Court of Oryx. I still do it from time to time.

Had 8 people there for solid hour yesterday. My three man fire team had 7 or so tier 3 runes. Was a nice farming run

CoO needs an easier way to find people. Sure, you can kill T3 bosses with a 3 man fireteam, but is easier and funnier to do it in a party of 9. Maybe treat CoO like a mini raid so you can use a rune with a 6 man fireteam? I don't know, but it should be way easier than it is now to find people.

1 OdpowiedźYesterday I got so unbelievably lucky for court of Oryx. My friend just wanted to do a stolen rune and so we arrived at court of oryx and there was already a fireteam of 3 there. We did some runes with them and then another fireteam of three showed up and this group was stacked with runes. We ended up doing the court of oryx for like 2 hours, I ended up getting like 26 engrams and we killed the fanatic at least 5 times. I kind of felt bad though because I was the only person in the group that didn't really have any runes.

My clan uses it all of the time, a great engram farming spot. They do need to change the cooldown mechanic though. Keep the person who just dropped the rune at whatever it currently is, but make everyone else on the fireteam wait 5 seconds before they can pop a new one. Last week my team was racing another team to pop our runes and somehow there was a delay and we never were able to pop our own, and then the other team completely left.

5 OdpowiedziThe last two days I've seen about three or four people there. What I find funny is that since Thalnok is the boss, you can see who has never done Crota. It's insane that I can't help these guys beat him because they have no idea what to do.

You have to be there for awhile and slowly people will join in, but yeah its rare

1 OdpowiedźIt is actually weird, I will go and see no one. Then I pop a rune in and start seeing people show up. Feel bad sometimes because I think some don't know how to get there. So you see revives off the edge from them trying to jump the gap.

If no one is there... Pop a reciprocal rune... People always show up

I go there very once in a while, but I never stay for long or go on Dreadnaught patrol every day since we have received a boat load of quests.

I lucked out once. There was about 7 or 8 randos. Hell a lot of us sat there for a good 2 hours at least.
