Sprint glitch that randomly prevents running for 4 to 5 seconds that has existed since beta remains unfixed
Black Spindle is out for a day and must be patched asap.

Edit: To those who think it's an intentional mechanic, why would it be able to be avoided by jumping, switching weapons, or crouching?

Anyone saying its a mechanic is wrong. I've experience the sprint cool down mechanic you basically just can't sprint I tap the sprint button twice when I have the cooldown and it works. It's also different then most you can sprint all you want but if you stop sometimes it needs to cool down.

Now when you take out your ghost you cant immediately sprint to put it away, it takes a while, then it makes you start walking slowly

And is not a glitch it is a purposed cool down to prevent infinite sprinting for you are not meant to just run for ever.. This is not Borderlands......

Agreed I hate how they patch stuff like the crota cheese but the running and the god damn scorch cannon can shoot thru walls and in to titan bubbles but nothing is done

3 OdpowiedziBecause the sprint bug is too deep in the code to be an easy fix as opposed to simply changing the attack value of the gun from 310 to 290...

I damn near quit playing the game because of this bug. It happens often enough and gets people killed often enough that it's definitely a game breaking bug. It caused me to fail a Flawless Raider attempt. It's caused my fireteam to wipe on Raids because someone died due to this bug. I can't even count how many times in the last year that this has gotten me and others in my fireteam killed. Bungie absolutely should have been working 24/7 to figure out what causes it and fix it ASAP. Also, remember how long it took Bungie to fix the Heavy Ammo loss when dying or going to orbit? They take their sweet time fixing things that make the game easier or more enjoyable for us. But if people find a clever way to gain an advantage like farming exotics with 3 of coins (something that THEY put in the game for that exact purpose), it gets patched immediately. Bungie is either lazy or ignorant or some combination of both when it comes to bug fixes.

I hate this so much. It always seems to happen when you're swarmed by enemies too.

Seems to happen a lot on oryx platforms and u miss the jump the number of times I randomly go into a walk so annoying

6 OdpowiedziIt's a mechanic, not a glitch. Destiny's not the only shooter with a sprint cooldown, but I'll admit it's one of the more egregious cooldowns out there. Two seconds would've sufficed, as far as I'm concerned, but I've bumped into far too many occasions where the current amount of five felt like agony.
