Black Spindle is out for a day and must be patched asap.

Edit: To those who think it's an intentional mechanic, why would it be able to be avoided by jumping, switching weapons, or crouching?

13 OdpowiedziI'm getting a fun variant where you are still able to sprint but you so so very very very very slowly.
-
Yeah lets talk about a literal feature of the game "Sprint having a cool down between uses" as if it's a bug instead of you know the bug where if you sprint you move slower than walking speed. BUT YEAH THAT COOL DOWN THING IS TOTALLY A BUG BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE HAVING A COOL DOWN BETWEEN SPRINTS. THAT THING WHERE YOU SPRINT AND END UP MOVING SLOWER THAN A SNAIL? NAH NAH NAH THAT'S NOT THE ACTUAL SPRINT GLITCH, NOT BEING ABLE TO SPRINT IMMEDIATELY AFTER SPRINTING IS THE REAL SPRINT GLITCH. Black Spindle's attack value is an easy fix compared to the actual sprint glitch (which is inconsistent making it even harder to fix) before any of you sore booty babies decide to say something. The "glitch" op is referring to has only happened to me after sprinting for 20 years and it is nowhere near as long as 5 seconds.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika indigovibe: 9/26/2015 12:12:26 PMThere are many buffs and debuffs displayed on the left side of your screen now when they're active. If there was a sprint cooldown, it would more than likely appear on the left with a cooldown timer. On top of that, there is no armor in the game that gives you less cooldown time after sprinting or anything at all related to it. The closest thing we have now is a tighter turn radius while sprinting, but that still doesn't include a sprint cooldown. From personal experience, I also want to point out that these are never regular time intervals for me. Sometimes it's just a few seconds, other times I can sprint again quickly. It's probably the remnants of a stamina code that was tested for implementation in the early days that weren't properly removed. All that said, it should be proof enough that swaping weapons to negate the "cooldown" makes absolutely no sense in terms of Destiny's gameplay. Why would they have honestly discussed such a thing in making these decisions? "Yeah, okay so after sprinting you're gonna have a cooldown with a random time, but you can negate it by double tapping your weapon swap button." It simply makes no sense.

It is because there is secret stamina thing after you continuously run for a while

1 OdpowiedźThis isn't Battlefield, mate.
-
i experience this alot it hurts my thumbnto reset the cooldown
-
2 OdpowiedziIt isn't a bug, it's just your guardian getting tired. If you go try it, you can run longer if you have more agility. I first noticed a pretty big difference switching from a slow warlock build to a max agility Hunter build.
-
2 OdpowiedziThat's called a cool down
-
Been doing my nut in since day one. Defo not intended.
-
Pretty sure it's working as intended. This has been an ongoing thing and frankly I'm not surprised Bungie is keeping mum. Either way it's silly if you ask me. But I think it's a mechanic simply because your agility rating seems to affect how long you can't sprint for.
-
6 OdpowiedziIt's a mechanic. You can tell by the feel of it alone. What's a bug is the slow sprint. But the cooldown is definitely intended.

1 OdpowiedźJust died earlier with heavy ammo on me and the spark. I was running to ignite the rift and one team mate ran back because he had a sword and stopped me and it felt like I got hit by a stun grenade. Couldn't move and got shot and died. So annoying! This thing really needs to get fixed!

3 OdpowiedziAnd keep the issue of 3 kills = 1 orb for Bladedancer; cuz, Y'know, it's fun not helping teammates out
-
Pisses me off so much.

5 OdpowiedziBUMP PLEASE YES BUMP!!!!!!!!!
-
This is an outdated mechanic that bungie seems to want for some dumb reason

3 OdpowiedziYou must not have played the beta or played on day one.
-
1 OdpowiedźHow about the Minotaur health glitch that's existed since Day One (or even earlier, as I've never played Alpha or Beta)? Minotaur health glitch is when their health bar reaches 0, and then suddenly goes back to between 10% to 20% health remaining. Rare, but most common on Majors. Really -blam!-ing annoying when running The Nexus Nightfall.
-
8 OdpowiedziYou know that reload cancel glitch that all the professional players use? Yeah, thats been there since launch.
-
1 Odpowiedźhow many people died yesterday tryna outrun the taken on the daily?

4 OdpowiedziStamina What you are requesting indirectly is a stamina bar.

-
Bump. Really annoying in the part where you run from the ogre.
-
8 OdpowiedziIts not a glitch, it is intended to be like this, in fact, most fps games have a cooldown after sprinting. e.g Battlefield and Cod
