So in trying to do this story for the exotic sniper. I'm 270 light and I just can't do it, even though the suggested light is 240. Moreover, everyone on LFG wants people that are 295+ light. Some people are getting crap from engrams and quests and can't get that high so it's kind of like the gjallarhorn situation where people are being excluded for not having it. Way to go BUNGIE you did it again.

And they said level no longer matters yet most things we fight are 1-2 levels about the max for us why?

Not to mention it's not like it'll never come around again or it'll never drop. Just calm. I want that supercell that I've seen some have but I'm not complaining about how it's unfair the rng favored them and not me...

The regular mission is 240, the enemies in the secret section are level 42 and like 290 light recommended

They are giving you an excotic. Its hard but you get rewarded. Get over it.

5 OdpowiedziDude, I have easily decrypted over 40 blue engrams today. Most of them were useless, but a select few became Legendary gear or 290+ infusion material. If you are having crap luck with leveling your light, save your marks and buy vendor gear for a quick bump. I would recommend buying a 280 ghost shell first, as they are hard to find. Also, a lot of the quests give you some pretty high level gear, such as the quest to complete the Nightfall that gives a 300 attack shotgun or fusion rifle. As for the Black Spindle, if you aren't at least 280 light, you are going to have a rough time killing anything. I was using a 300 attack power solar fusion rifle and I was having issues stripping Taken Captains and Knights of their Solar shields.

1 OdpowiedźYou just gotta keep grinding it man. Just remember how people treated you when you finally hit your higher level and remember not to treat people like that bc now you know how it feels. Your not missing out on anything for real. The exotics are pretty lame so far and exotic armor is just whack these days after everyone whined and cried about the different types of armor they were giving the characters so now everything is just pretty blah. I bought the Destiny ps4 to play with my buddies but I'm an Xbox player first and I tell you I'm seriously considering taking that ps4 back. I hope they make it better soon and I'm going to give it a little time but for myself, me being someone with 1,000 hours in this game, this stuff we are getting isn't anywhere near as unique and exciting as our year one items.

What I'm doing to increase my light level faster is to ensure that I have the highest level gear equipped before decrypting blue engrams. I've noticed higher level items drop for me more frequently. Must be something in the RNG algorithm that is impacting this. Furthermore, decrypt one blue engram at a time because it may give a sweet blue item that has a much higher level that you can equip before decrypting the next engram. I'm at 281 right now on my main hunter and this method helped significantly.

It's a secret weapon, it's supposed to be a challenge. Compared to that one secret they threw into Halo 1, this thing is a cakewalk.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Twheeeeezy17: 9/23/2015 10:57:55 PMThe actual story is for 240.... Taking the alternate route and fighting the take. Is probably 290. And as far as my experience is concerned, engrams have presented gear close to or exceeded my gear as I level up.

It's an exotic.. Did you expect it to be easy?

yesterday i was doing patrols on each planet for that quest. rounded up about 20 or so blue engrams. 5 turned out to be legendaries. got my weapons up to 295 light or just under. sure thats crazy lucky but its totally possible to get your light level up there soloing content.
