1 gaze runner and 5 in the pit. You need at least 1 Titan and 1 Hunter. Snipers as specials works the best.
It's all about timing and coordination.
Runner stays in the front left to capture the gaze (easiest we found to fend off the purple bubbles). Only pop the front left bubble for damage boost. Use weapons of light and Hunter bow that adds criticals to every shot. (Was hitting 98K with the raid sniper 12-15x per round).
Jump out of the pit clear the adds by making orbs for Titan and Hunter. Rinse repeat till dead.
When taken comes out orbs will be in short supply but he should be low enough where it's not going to be a big deal.
Also if you have a lightning Warlock, he should be on taken duty in the pit.
Edit: this is the order things should happen as close to each other as possible:
Pop damage pool, capture gaze, pop Titan bubble next to damage pool (not on top of), tether with Hunter super, dps as soon as you get in damage pool.
You have 2 seconds after the timer runs out on the gaze to get out of the pit so dps the whole time.
Self Rez warlocks DO NOT save your supers for death, use them on adds to get orbs for the Hunter and Titan.
Edit: make sure you have special ammo synth. ;)

1 OdpowiedźYeap we did something similar. 1 sniper to get his gaze while the 5 shoot R1 orb and then weapons of light (if available) and dps the boss. Once the gaze is almost up, sniper call it out, all 5 head back up and clear the adds. The boss will be dead in 4 rounds. Spam your snipers!

The only problem with this method is alot of people just can't do high dps. I'm always to of my team at that part with one person closer to my damage and than no one else is even close. So using this strategy probably won't work for lower levels running the raid. For high dps use snipers and machine guns.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika NobodyJustBrad: 9/23/2015 4:53:04 PMThere's an easier strategy. We almost killed him in two sets of orbs the other day. Finished him off on the third. That's only 3 waves of enemies.

2 OdpowiedziWith the exotic black hammer that was discovered today there is no need for special synth ;)

3 OdpowiedziSo wait it's not necessary to use all 6 pools?? You just use the same one and repeat several times? I feel like he would be enraged before you got half his health down....

We did this last night and nailed it on our very first try. If you can do the damage this is by far the easiest method, even if it takes a minute or two longer.

1 OdpowiedźWe beat him last night using this method. We didn't have wol and tether damage every round and we still did pretty well. Throw aoe effect grenades at him when you jump in the pit to set off all the cursed thrall around him.
-
5 OdpowiedziGreat. Only downside is requiring the use of a specific class/subclasses. So, for those that don't want to put restrictions on who can play with who, they'll stay with the previous method.
