Why would you even put a system that could potentially hurt players like this in the game? You already know the story... blew a bunch of strange coins (100+). People can argue "dude learn how to read" but honestly my genuine excitement to get a new heavy outweighed all reason, because mind you I'm up at 5 AM to meet a fictional character in a video game. Not to mention my pure excitement that this is a fun and rewarding place (Destiny) where I want to spend my time and also my trust the developer will look out for players to ensure they have fun. Because man I've been having fun in TTK. A lot of it.This was just plain not fun and really left me feeling sick. Should anything that could potentially cause players a serious amount grief be put into a game? I'm not talking the bugs I endured during Crota, I dealt with that and understand sometimes it won't be perfect but this sucks. Guardians shouldn't have this feeling of loss or just plain being sick. We spent countless hours earning those coins and now they're gone because I didn't read a heading? Feels hell of cheap to me. ***Please don't respond if you're not offering a solution for myself and the other folks who are at a loss from this oversight (which judging by the forums is a good size group of players) or you're just going to say "Read, bro." Because yea I should've read the fine print, that's obvious, because otherwise I wouldn't be posting this. But instead of trashing us for being idiots why not see things from our perspective and see we're just guardians in need of some light because we made a simple mistake. Thanks. ***update 2: I do think legacy engrams are nice for people who don't have all the weapons, especially those that need them to convert over to year 2 exotics. Again just don't want anyone else to go through what a bunch of us have. So-- putting it first in his inventory, the price tag and not having it slightly more identifiable as a year 1, simple sub menu or a slight variation in color would've went a long way. I don't think it's crazy to point these things out, but I do think it's crazy to expect them to change anything. This is where we discuss what we like and don't like and this was one of things I didn't like. Not Legacy engrams in general just the way they were implemented and the slight screw up it allowed a lot guardians to do.
