Have fun with The Taken King tonight.
The Twitch streams are over, you have downloaded 2.0.0, you have gotten a taste of Rift and Mayhem. Tonight you finally get to play The Taken King. I know that a lot of people have strong opinions about new weapons and armor being more powerful than the gear collected in Year One. I want to ensure you that your thoughts on the matter have not fallen on deaf ears. I can't promise that the devs will change their mind about upgrading Year One equipment, but I do promise to pass on the feedback you post on the forum. We value your input.

3 OdpowiedziWow I barely make that much money a Month and You can hardly do nothing now without the taken king. No Lvl 40 and that means no new Legendary Weapons, no more being able to Lvl up factions to get something we can't equip. And Really Come on Please allow The People that Do not Own the Taken King to get the legendary gear and Weapons and Lvl 40 because without everyone being able to reach lvl 40 they can't experience The New Weapons or Armor. So again please allow the Guardians that can't afford this able to reach lvl 40

[/quote] The real problem is that you [i]made our year one gear weaker[/i], [b]not[/b] new gear stronger. It took me forever to get VoG armor that combined to have 100% Intellect and Discipline, and TTK turned that into 20%. Tell them the planned obsolescence is too obvious.

We should be able to infuse old gear! I can't believe all of this work I've put in is useless now. Yeah the new stuff is great but I want the shit I've put hours into getting as well. You guys did this shit with crotas end and people got pissed so you fixed it with etheric light. And now you're making the same mistake. Ridiculous.

2 OdpowiedziLet's see a new form of etheric light. C'mon guys. If it weren't for that i would have bought ttk. I'm holding out for the reviews and also really hoping that they decide to NOT limit the game and let every player use whatever gun they want. See, i'm all for using new guns if they're good, and some look amazing so far, but i can't quite agree with leaving everything behind. It would give the game so much more diversity. Those devs should really think this over and sell it with the next dlc in 3 months

They are acquired by completing the most challenging aspects of the game at the time they were acquired. I also think Raid gear should be added to the Blueprint board. This will keep all the Raids relevant no matter their difficulty. EDIT/UPDATE: I only care about Raid gear and Exotics. Some people may care about Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner and Prison of Elders gear as well. Long story short, gear rewarded from end-games activities required clearing the most challenging activities and it would be great to continue to use them at the current full power. What if you guys at Bungie make a raid that incorporates multiple elements from previous raids where this gear could be useful in different combinations, like carrying the sword of Crota, or destroying oracles, then the gear would have continued purpose as well as be a trophy.
