Tell me. Why are so many people hunters?
What's so special?
Edit: as of now it just seems most people are lazy and want "E-Z mode".
Edit 2: now people think I'm a little bias, but I'm just too lazy to level up my hunter lol.
Edit 3: I just noticed I have about 500 replies.
Edit 4: I've always wanted to have a post with tons of replies, but now I see it's not so fun.
Edit 5: my hunter is level 40!

A hunter was my first choice when I started playing. After I played awhile I couldnt delete it fast enough. I made myself a Titan & never looked back! Im deleting my warlock tomorrow to make another Titan

I played a warlock first. I made another warlock. (Forever 29 was not fun.) I made a Titan during TDB. Deleted my second warlock and made a hunter about a month ago. I say you really can't enjoy the game to its fullest until you play all 3 classes. As of now, hunter is my favorite, mainly because I love pvp now.

1 OdpowiedźThe ratio favors hunters as the most chosen class by like 2% so I don't know what you're getting at. Especially about the 'lazy' comment. How does a -blam!-ing character in a video game make someone lazy... Especially when it's time to run the relic in a raid and someone asks "do we have a hunter?" While they just sit in the back and shoot Gjallarhorn at stuff...

Cosmetic and aesthetically best looking gear such as cloaks, predominantly setup for kills in PvP, and most people are drawn to the scout/sniper type of character. Think back on how much attention pro Halo players got for their sniping skills, while the best players were winning championships with their BRs and team shot. Example: A Neighbor, Chig or Naded compared to A Lunchbox, Legit or Hysteria.

When I get the the "kill 25 hunters" bounty it is so much quicker than the warlock or titan one.

Abilities like Chain of Woe and Gunslingers Trance are absolutely amazing if you are using hand cannons, pulse rifles, or scout rifles, which is what i like to use. After HoW was released with the Celestial Nighthawk, i fell in love with Gunslinger even more. I only really use bladedancer for crotas end, anywhere else outside PvP the class is mostly irrelevant. Also hunters have by far the best jumping mechanic haha. Though while hunter is my favorite, that will most likely change with the new subclasses. That new Titan subclass looks simply badass lolz. Still the new Hunter subclass Nightstalker has me very excited as well, so i look forward to both of them.

I have all three classes. Day 1 main. Warlock TDB main Titan HoW main Hunter TTK main i dunno yet.
