Edit: "Good" news. My wife got really sick and has to stay in bed, so my MIL went home today. I can now game with occasional "bring her some soup" breaks. :)

I would suggest that you mention your previously held plan on playing the new game release to your wife. I am certain that you and your wife can come to a compromise that will get you some unfettered time to play. You'll just probably have to put a little more effort in to the times that you are spending with your mother in law.

27 OdpowiedziTwo words... spa package. My wife did the same thing to me last year when Vanilla Destiny launched. I bought them both a day-spa deal and told them to go out for a nice dinner somewhere and a movie. "Take your time, honey. Relax. You both deserve it."

1 OdpowiedźWork late. Hopefully you work somewhere with full internet access (no proxy/firewall). Take your console to work and when you're done for the day, connect it to your monitor. You're also right by your work phone in case your wife calls for a status update. We used to do this in a boardroom with the original Xbox and play Halo on a projector.
