So.. How many NEW players will the Taken King bring to destiny
As the title says. Does everyone think that the taken king will bring a massive load of new players to the community? Or will it just be mostly the old players playing and or returning?

1 OdpowiedźI've seen lots of new players since 2.0. It's even motivated me to start a Warlock.

4 OdpowiedziI don't think it'll get.many new players, few thousand from the consoles being sold as special editions with destiny in the box, most that would buy it now will be gone by October with all the big titles hitting the shelf. Too many players have been Lost, destiny has left a bitter taste in many people's months, anytime I walk into a game shop all the staff that bought it left after a couple days as it was just boring. My personal friends list dropped from 5-6 pages in year one to one, not one page, one player, the last 4 or 5 left with ttk announcements about gear being redundant. Including me

25 OdpowiedziThe game is turning around. Bungie just needs to get their shit together and make each dlc better than the last. The first two were pitiful attempts. They need to get moving to keep me past TTK. I have faith though

1 OdpowiedźI've been seeing a ton of kindergaurdians in mayhem and rift. Probably just started. Checked their grimoire, yes they just started.

2 OdpowiedziLots. It's so adorable seeing people running around with double digit grimoire....... so cute! I actually messaged a random in tower a couple of weeks ago though and helped him hit 20 so he could experience true grind (was before 2.0 dropped)

None of my friends are coming back. There are only 3/6 left from my original raid group.

My old fireteam is coming back. A few peeps I know who missed out on destiny are being sucked in by the trailer lol. So quite a few I imagine

I play on Xbox One and i have been seeing akot more new people this last week than normal.

I doubt it will be a huge amount. I'd imagine most players who really wanted to play Destiny would have already bought it over the past year.

3 OdpowiedziJudging by people I talk to on Twitter,there's going to be quite alot of new players joining. That and people that played it for two weeks or so when it released then gave up,are coming back.
