There's another ghost shell that looks identical to it in year 2, but otherwise no. We can't infuse it because it isn't from Year 2.

Actually mine gives the option to infuse

As does mine, but the infusion says 'only items from the same year can be infused together'

No just says consume a more powerful ghost to boost the defense value of this ghost shell.

Turn on Destiny and re-read it. I promise you, it doesn't say just that.

They wouldn't put infusion on it if you couldn't infuse it with the new ghosts. There are no year one ghosts to feed it. The white base shell has no infusion.

Unless it was just a design oversight. Give all legendary ghost a bunch of perks. It also doesn't have the TTK symbol. Of course, I could very well be wrong and honestly would like to be. Just saying it's entirely possible we won't be able to bring it with us.

Nah man, I feel you. I hope it's not gonna be left behind in the dust, but one should never assume anything with Bungie. Glass half full optimism. That's all we got in Destiny.
