When TTK comes out the etheric light version of ascending goes away. So those of us (mostly trials folk because lez b honest whose gonna grind POE every week) who have accumulated many of these items have no use for them. I propose maybe having the speaker either do a 2-3 motes of light for every etheric light. I mean since motes will technically *ascend* newer gear it would make sense that this would be a reasonable trade. Players could either ascend weapons or wait for Xur but I think it'd be a good use of them instead of giving us reputation when dismantling. What do you guys think?
