Bungie, you ruined class items
The one cosmetic item that most people care about (especially hunters), and you tie light into them.
Now I'm forced to use a cloak I don't like as much aesthetically just to have a decent light level.
The one week pledge to a faction is awesome and frees us to use any class item we want now, but attaching light to those items now negates that feature.

I agree with this. Can't use my favorite items now. The class items had sentimental value since you could wear them for so long. Oh well.

Agreed, it's stupid that they took the one purely esthetic item and made it have stats. I can't use my favorite cloak anymore and have to use one with a higher rating.

I main a hunter so this really pisses me off all my favorite cloaks are nothing to me now -lead scout -all my victims -ghost angel -vanilla new monarchy cloak

I can only hope that there will be more class items for TTK then the other dlcs combined, or we will all look the same.

This pisses me off. I was glad to be able to level factions while wearing what mark I want, like my mark of the exile, but now I'm told I can't because it has THIRTY defense. Now I have to wear this recycled lvl 30 rare that looks stupid and has been here since launch. So glad I no longer have control over my aesthetic item.

31 OdpowiedziSeriously. This practically FORCES the need for a transmog system. That either needs to come in quickly, or all class items need to be BUMPED the -blam!- up in defense. But of course, you can't do that because then low levels would be out of balance. So it's pretty much hosed. Seriously I was so pumped about not being FORCED to wear certain class items (via the badge system). That has been entirely destroyed. Now all my legendaries have seemingly RANDOM defense numbers applied (Iron Banner gear is only 30? WTF). My vanilla class items are useless. Let us apply Etheric Light to class items only. Please fix this. Please let us know you're looking into it! We're back to being forced to wear certain vanity items. Etheric Light or infusion seems appropriate.
