For the people who live with their girlfriends and such.
How many hours a day do you spend on destiny?
Me and my girl have recently got a house and let's face it she moans to -blam!- when I come online I rarely play it.
Anyone else have these problems.
So it seems everyone has this problem also!!
Let's add girlfriend/wife quotes to this.
Mine says oh eff off and go kill the Wizards...

1 OdpowiedźI play between 2 to 6 hours a day I only play at night when the wife and kids are already in bed its never been a issue and we've been married 18 years now.

try to get 2-3 hours. i work night shift so i stay up sometime longer then she does. but she likes to sit on the computer shopping online etc so i get my play time

1 OdpowiedźI once had this problem too. That was 10 years ago, just try to keep her occupied and happy most of the time an keep letting her know how much you love gaming and if she's anything like my wife, then you'll end up miserable anyway cuz she'll just keep complaining constantly for a decade. My advice to you is to just move out now lol jk

My ex wife used to hate when I played video games. It was so bad I would go to my friends house to play after work and said I was "working late"... That was 7 years ago when I was in the Marine Corps. Now my girlfriend doesn't care that I play... But than again I work 2nd shift and she is sleeping when I get home. 😃

Well the straight up truth of the matter is, that a loving wife, understands and respects the things you like to do, and for me gaming is something I like to do, it is my hobby, and as stupid as it may seem, if she keeps you from doing what you like even though it's just a "stupid video game" it will drive a wedge between you two. Don't tell her that it will drive a wedge but try to make her understand it's something your passionate about, everyone needs a hobby. And as others have suggested try to get her into it, me and my wife just started doing this, she's terrible at the game, but she's learning one day she will be a permanent fixture on my fire team and it'll be cheap fun quality time we can spend together and escape reality for a bit. 2 OdpowiedziI married. I sacrifice sleep to play a couple of hours a day when I can. Also, my wife calls it "The Destiny" like she's 83 years old and it's an olde tyme disease.

1 OdpowiedźGot a wife here, even used to threaten to turn off the circuit breakers if I didn't stop....good advice is pay attention to what she wants. Mine is now ok with it as long as I get everything done around the house that she wants.

I run a video game repair shop so she knew what she was getting into when we got together lol. She normally reads a book when I play though and I get a couple hours a week and she knows after a expansion she's going to loose me for a week or 2.

Lol I bug the hell out of mine and she says, "ugh just go play your xbox so I can watch my shows in peace." I just don't play every night anymore especially now that we are married so that we can spend time together. I've logged around 1500 hours in year 1 while living with her lol

My girl says something is always going on.. as tuesday resets, xur, iron banner and trials. Im like yeah trials is only the first week of each month and trials is only friday ect.

6 OdpowiedziIf I had a girlfriend I would make sure I made time for her interests as well as my own. I'd have time to play while she was off doing other things; games aren't a priority over the people I love. However I do have a boyfriend and thankfully we're both very avid gamers :)

Mine actually takes care of me while i play a few times a week. Other then that i set a rule that i get a few hours a day then she gets the resr of my time

9 OdpowiedziGet her into the game.....its going to be hard at first as seeing as some girls aren't into games(all tho they play psychological ones all day) me and my girl have been going strong for 4 years now (proposing soon) and I play a few hours a day and when she feels like it she tags along too...she's not much of a raider because they take too long and she starts to get dizzy...but she's always down for something simple like Pvp or bounties,strikes etc lol the first game I got her hooked to was black ops 2 then battlefield 4 and up from there...it took awhile tho...I had to take an interest in her activities first...girls night, double dates, etc and she'll come around so long as you make it look like fun...hope this helps.

Coming from the other side, I play quite alot. I actually bought my boyfriend's PS4 for his birthday and Destiny came along with it. He works about 12 hour shifts almost everyday, so while waiting for him to come home, and all housewife duties are done, I started playing Destiny. It looked cool when he first played it and I thought we could play together when I got good at it, so I practied while he was working. (Silly me, thinking it was a split screen two player game) Now, here I am months later, founder of our 20-man clan and waiting for the LE bundle to drop so we can FINALLY play together.
