Ban all exotic gear from iron banner and trials. Also make a playlist where no exotics are allowed.
It's the only way to make thing competitive cause it will force players to be on the same level. At least from the super competitive playlists like trials and iron banner.

Not for public game modes. However, when thy eventually put in private matches the host should be able to disable certain gear like you can in cod private matches e.g. A snipers only game or a no gun game

I support this post. Seriously though I think a no exotics Playlist would at very least make things more interesting. Oh and bring back large maps!! All of this CqC bullshit is boring.

a no-exotics playlist, or hell, just a custom game mode with adjustable rulesets in general would be nice. but level-advantaged PVP is kind of a staple in MMO type deals, because it gives players some incentive to invest more time in the game, to eventually grind themselves to some sort of an advantage over players that haven't i mean, you can criticize that kind of system if you want. personally, i don't it's very fun or appealing myself. but as part of a multiplayer experience, it's been proven to garner and retain player interest, and you're very unlikely to convince a developer capitalizing on this kind of system to abandon it completely
