If you want to be a sheepdog prepare to be hated by the sheep and feared by the wolves. It's a lonely road but NEVER put yourself down. You have value and worth even if you're not some chatty socialite. If you want to be more social then like any skill it will take work and a lot of failure. However a winner in life is a problem solver, every defeat is a lesson to be analyzed and used to bring you closer to your goals. People tend to gravitate (even if subconsciously) to people that try to be positive, even when life's in the gutter. Do read how to win friends and influence people. Anyway in regards to destiny, try to find a clan online that uses a chat program (chatango for example) and use it to feel out the members (they will use it to assess you too). Might take 10 tries or 2 but you'll find some like minded people eventually. Finally I never reply to these things but honestly, I was playing destiny on LFG groups for 7 months before I started looking for a clan for endgame stuff. LFG has it's place but if you want consistent endgame content and to build some buddies for raiding IB and trials, you need a clan. The effort you spend finding the right clan for you will pay in game time 100x over. My 2¢

Sorry nobody understood your point. You weren't asking for clans to join, you were pointing out that the entire Lone Wolf selling point of Bungie was BS. You were right, companies aren't allowed to tell you that their product is one thing and then sell you something different. That's bait and switch.

If you're on ps4, and serious about trying stuff, add me. Psn same as above. Don't care if you're not talkative, but a mic does help with these activities, especially when you're still learning the mechanics and the flow of them. Long as you try and aren't a rager, no worries.

ah dude, i have been there too. the first 8 months i was playing destiny all by myself. grinding public missions and bounties waiting for matchmaking becoming a thing. i almost got burned out and got very frustrated. it took for ever to level up and afterwards i got stuck on lvl 31 until i took that leap of faith in the tower and asked somebody if they wanted to help me with some stuff or said yes to people asking me for help with nightfall and such. tell you what. the content got so much more fun after that and i got to redo all the stuff that i missed out on before. destiny is really meant to be played with other people for maximum fun! i am sure with TTK many new player will come and i am sure people will replay the first raids as they level up. that's maybe a great opportunity for you to jump in and relive those things with them and make some friends on the way. take the offer from these guys here in the forum, you'll see how naturally you fit in with everybody else. after all we all share the same passion for computer games. how hard can it be?? best regards total_crap

I'm not shy or introverted but i have no interest in playing with random people. I would feel sad, same as you, if i didn't get to do the end game stuff. I have friends that play so i didn't have to experience that, but i would have had i not had luck to have gamer friends (at 45). Take the offer of these people. You will feel so much better :)

I had a lot of trouble just like you with Destiny.[/b] But hey, I've done every endgame activity except a flawless run in Trials. And I don't even have a mic. I don't talk to anyone I do endgame activities with because knowing what to do is just a thing people assume you know.. Add me on Xbox if you're on an Xbox One or 360. I mostly play Xbox One. I'll help you any time I'm on with anything except Trials and if you need it I'll try to gather a team. Please don't get yourself down about this; endgame activities normally are only fun for the first 5-10 times you play them- afterwards it gets a little chore-ish. Bungie didn't exactly make this an easy part of the game to get into either. Anyways. There's an app that I often use for LFG called, well, Destiny LFG. Its very simple and easier and quicker than Destiny's #Recruitment forum. 1. LFG for Destiny by JRaff https://appsto.re/us/mNbq3.i This other app is a god-send for those of us with packed inventories and vaults. It shows you all the gear you have in sections and then lets you move the gear in bulk as loadouts to your characters automatically while you play. 2. Loadouts for Destiny by Viacheslav Karpenko https://appsto.re/us/k_OC6.i AND REMEMBER THIS: Although its not your fault, the fact that you haven't done any endgame content by now makes you an irregular- you probably aren't going to get much help from anyone if you post on forums actually telling people you don't know what to do in the raid/whatever you wanna do. My advice is YouTube and do a lot of research on the things you want to do before you start trying to do them. It'll all solidify as you play through those activities again. You don't like talking to people. Neither do I. The reason I don't have to is that I know what to do. You [i]need[/i] to know what you're doing these days because everyone is so elitist by now its ridiculous.

Unfortunately destiny has done it's best to isolate people like you, by making it almost necessary to waste hours per raid/poe/ect just to get in and try it. If you aren't so.e badass with 8 million completions are relic knowledgeable it's an even longer wait, as you have to wait for nice people., which are pretty scarce in this awful place called bungie.net.

I understand with respects to not talking to people. Im not that introverted but I still dont enjoy what is basically direct contact with people who 9/10 times turn out to be arrogant "I know how to do this listen to me" people. I know the good people are out there and dyou know what, they are silent :) This game actually sucks to play solo. There is NOTHING to do. I know that its POSSIBLE to do this game solo but its also possible to play ESO solo tho its obviously much much less fun. In fact just go play ESO dude. I never thought Id be ever, ever telling anyone, to ever go play ESO over this game but here I am.

I have both good and bad, so hear me out. 1. I used to be like you. Played the game just by myself, running solo, being all lone wolf. What I would suggest if you feel like trying to do the endgame? Use [url=http://destinylfg.com]link[/url] the website is easy to use, and I get people who invite me all the time. Just send out a bunch of "hey I'm looking to do _____, need help, never done it yet" and people will help you. If not, add me. I love helping people out with stuff. I've done Skolas five times now. Unless you want to do trials, then it'll be harder, but I'll help. 2. I'm sorry to say the game is meant for a social experience. You can play the story and crucible alone, but some of those big things are just too big for one guardian to handle. Sometimes that resorts to having to team up. As for being talked to In a fire team, just be positive and friendly, and usually it all runs well. (I have had some rude people, but I left them at Skolas >:) So if you are an "introvert" (I am a little too haha) just do your best to find a group. You'll make friends pretty easy after that. If not, I'm getting my Xbox one real soon, so go ahead and add me. I've got the time to help everyone who asks. Well, when I'm on destiny that is :D

Nightfalls aren't too bad my friend I tackle them alone because I loath playing with other people just be cautious use cover, move up slowly and don't take unnecessary risks, it'll take a couple hours if you got it :)

2 OdpowiedziChin up, TTK is a fresh start. Use the infusion of light and get cracking, TTK was practically made with players like you in mind.

I took the lone wolf approach for a while. Frankly, being on good raid teams is easily the most fun I've had. Plus Once you're good enough you can solo Crota, Poe and nightfalls :) Add on ps4 if you want.
