I'm getting an amazing birthday gift on September 8th
I get to watch the forums burn as Thorn wielders whine and blink shotgunners cry
I'm so excited for 2.0! Anyone else looking forward to this?

All this means is that the same skilled players using traditionally the most effective tactics will find new tactics and continue to be better than all the people complaining about blink, shotguns, thorn, TLW, snipers, rockets, angel of light, sliding, head shots, fusion rifles, pulse rifles and just about everything else

3 OdpowiedziIm a Thorn wielder, there will be no whining here. I'll just use the next OP weapon (very high chance i already have it) then give it a couple of days, get my pop corn and a comfy chair and watch the bitching on here start all over again, cant wait!!

4 OdpowiedziIdk why people are so excited when all this does is switch the meta around, it wont "fix" anything. Imagine Hardlight or some new exotic becomes the most OP gun because of the changes. How is that any different from Thorn/TLW now? Bungie has had 3 major weapon tuning updates and each time 1-2 guns are overpowered or overused. Anybody remember Suros? It was just replaced by Thorn. Just as Suros replaced Vex Mythoclast (which truly was broken three shots with it would kill and an entire team could be wiped out in a mag.) So see you a week after the update when you will be complaining about the new OP guns/abilities.

If its anything like the last HC nerf Im expecting little to no change in the effectiveness of these weapons on the pitifully small maps that Bungie insists on cramming 12 players into. The only way I can see to actually nerf them is either a straight damage reduction or make them wildly inaccurate.
