If you have a red connection
If you have a Walmart internet connection and play Trials.. You are just as bad as any cheater out there. I just witnessed a guy with a red connection run through two rocket launcher blasts with proximity and live to kill me and revive others... Bungie please fix this...COMPETITIVE GAMES SHOULD HAVE A DESIGNATED SERVER!!!!

Once you are in game you are subject to the hosts internet, it doesn't matter how good your's is. If the host is on another continent or someone in the house decides to download HD movies, it can turn even the best connection red (you will notice this more when everyone's connection goes bad). Bungie could implement dedicated servers for PvP, but with the costs associated, it is highly unlikely. Also as there is no regional matchmaking you would still get it anyway.

This game will not ever have dedicated servers ever. Bungie nor Activision will ever pay the cost it would be to set them up. And no, not all competitive games have or use dedicated servers. In fact most true competitively played games are done so on lan and not over the internet. anything online is not really competitive and never will be because of lag and other issues that cannot be directly controlled.

But sometimes (not often), it does drop me to red bar connection. However, when I'm red bar, the game becomes worse, not better for me. I can't land shots and I die in an instant.

I frequently have a red connection. When I check the network status on the PS, it shows signal strength at 100%. Every other item in my house has a good connection. There is a strong possibility the problems with connection to Destiny are external...

See... What was pissin me off when I decided (for some stupid ass reason) to play a little IB this week, is I was laggin my ass off. I took a look at my settings, tried other games, all that jazz... Out of Battlefield bc2, cod mw2,mw3,bo2,ghosts,bo3 beta, battlefield 4 and hardline, and even wow... Destiny was the only game I had a shit connection to. Rest were under 100ping... Hell wow was at 30ms

I have probably the best internet cox can provide, since I have a console and my brother has a console and my dad has two computers he works on...I tend to go down to a red bar sometimes. It goes away after a few minutes but occasionally comes back. It's not my fault it does, it happens to everyone.

Watch this from 2:22 to 2:39 This shit happens a lot, I've given up on Destiny PVP and have started enjoying kill stealing from all the casuals in strikes (fml).

I stopped reporting red bar players, why? because it has happens to me. One game I'm full bar and in the next I'm lagging the shit outta destiny so forget about reporting!

Regardless of how much deddys cost, they are not limited to only host destiny, years from now they can be used to host games such as "Call of Duty Advanced Breakfast for Dinner" or the cult classic "Kinda TitanFall With Notes of Acute 23rd Allele"

2 OdpowiedziI can't say that I have seen a player eat a rocket but this weekend I have seen at least 3 players that couldn't die, or it took too long for them to die. I wasn't killed by these players, I was killed by my overall carelessness and poor situational awareness. In other words, I saw an "easy" kill and I ended up getting killed by someone else on the other team because I was too busy trying to kill someone that would have been dead three times over if not for the lag. I do not think it was intentional because it didn't happen over the entire match. I noticed there were plenty of times I was red barring too.

There was this one guy red barring..but I had reason to think he was cheating. I couldn't put damage onto him no matter how hard I shot him and he was able to shoot me back regularly. He acted like a normal player it was so stupid.

2 OdpowiedziLol you can have the greatest connection in the world and appear red bar. I often appear red bar to americans but to europeans and australians my connection is green. I live in asia and to me americans are all red.

Have you tried playing during European hours ? When me (from the UK) and some of my friends (from Canada) play PvP we do it early European hours and nearly every game is free of lag and red connections, it is only when the American timezoned people get on that it is a red bar lagfest, sorry if that offends American timezoned people but its tried and tested and true.

My connection is always green in PvE but for some reason I red bar during any PvP activities from time to time. My internet speed is great but the host always screws up my connection.

Once i had a red bar in control It looked like the world was lagswitching against me... Then i rebooted the game and te connection went back to green
