Seriously, why is anyone still playing
One of the purposes of the game is to get th sweet loot. But bungee has said, in no uncertain terms, that the weapons from year one will be basically only viable for year one activities. So, I guess they are giving us more vault space for our useless year one exotics? As a trophy case? Stupid.
I honeatly don't see why anyone is still playing. At least until the riddle of September. Why grind for The Iron Banner shotgun when a green or white weapon from TTK may be seriously better?
Budgie should not pretend that TKK is a DLC and own up to the fact that they are just making a new game altogether. Get ready to start over, people.

Year 1 stuff will always be great. And knowing bungie, a couple of years from now they will get crazy and add head seeker to the LDR5001 or something ( just as an example, relax ) The last thing I would want to say is " shit ! I wish I didn't dismantle that ! " Cheers.

The better question is why do poeple still play COD or HALO? last gen games rebooted on new consoles? Who wants to keep playing the same old games year after year? At least Destiny has some originality in it and I have fun playing it too.

3 OdpowiedziIt's an MMO, so as level caps increase the gear has to follow the raising of the bar. The fact that some exotics will get a chance in year 2 is kind of bungie to be honest. Anyone who has played an MMO knows this. It's a ten year plan. You think that everyone wants to use thier year 1 gear for years to come? New gear gives new goals alongside the new content.

Your right some guns are really gonna piss not to be able to ascend . fatebringer, found verdict, voc, fang of iryut. I think they could have let you ascend a couple. I still play its fun, but I'm not sure if I want do all the weapon leveling up again.

I like pvp, pve, and the flow and feel of it. But as frustrating as making my old weapons and armor useless, I find keeping up with everybody and adapting to change challenge in itself.
