Not meant to be an elitist thread. Just wondering people's opinions. I think seeing the lighthouse was a legitimate endgame activity. More then getting golden chests... just a thought
Edit: bunch of interesting opinions. Some people seem like elitists, others seem like they just never want to play pvp which is a fine argument. It's not changing now so it doesn't actually matter. Personally I just see it as a critical part of completing everything year 1 had to offer, that's all.

Haven't been. Probably never will. I never have the time to dedicate to getting to the lighthouse and with the rampant elitism (not directed at you) it's nearly impossible to find a team. I'm PVE mostly anyway. I look at the ToO gear and admire and then move on lol
-
I think it would be a little much I think the triumphs where meant to be relatively simple so most if not all year one players should complete.

1 OdpowiedźWhile ToO is a legitimate end game activity, and the Lighthouse is the ultimate achievement, it has a crucial difference. Atheon, Crota and Skolas require you to pit your skill against the computer. Any failure is on your end and the other people you have selected to play with you. On trying to get to the lighthouse, your failure can be based on your opponents. Now whether this deserves merit is anyone's own opinion. I personally prefer to have the achievements based on my own skill. The other crucible achievement (100 kills) can be achieved by even the worse PvP player over time.

It's more comparable to flawless raider, I know the rewards are much different but that's bungie a fault. Maybe the should be a 9 win triumph
-
No cuz ppl suck
-
I've been tithe lighthouse but I don't think that it should be included.
-
-blam!- no, because I don't want to be a locked out from shit I want to do on my pve game unless I take it deep from the avid PvP types. Yeah I get it. More blueberries in there to be "competitive" with in unranked matches. Oh and more validation like bungie doesn't fellate the PvP community enough already at all levels. There's no mercy in the crucible guardian... Its just full of badasses up in here.. Really? It should be an alternative to Skolas.
-
No, considering most people would never complete it. Also, the elitists would probably play even more just to ruin the chances of those trying to succeed.
-
I would say no although I'm on the "I suck at PVP and don't enjoy it enough to play and get better at it" train. Advertised as a game with strong PVE blah blah blah that also has PVP. Not as CoD PVP galore that also happens to have PVE content.
-
Nah. Every Year 1 player can beat those other challenges. Everyone cannot necessarily get to the lighthouse.

2 OdpowiedziAll the people saying no clearly haven't gone flawless
-
4 OdpowiedziI say yes, it is an endgame activity, for PVE you had to complete Skolas, Crota and Atheon on harder difficulties. 100 wins in PVP is not endgame, going to the light house or reaching rank 5 in iron banner at least one is.
-
Hell no
-
1 OdpowiedźFix the hacking and server issues, and I would say go ahead and put it on there.
-
No. I haven't even played Trials. They should give the Flawless crowd something unique. Say the ability to ascend a Trials Chest Weapon/Armor piece to the max TTK level. (Level 40)
-
Only if it included flawless raider.
-
No coz i havent made it lol
-
-
It should have at least been "Finish a Trials Of Osiris card with at least 8 wins"
-
Nah. It's just an emblem. If it was an exotic weapon or something more serious then yes, it probably should have.
