Not meant to be an elitist thread. Just wondering people's opinions. I think seeing the lighthouse was a legitimate endgame activity. More then getting golden chests... just a thought
Edit: bunch of interesting opinions. Some people seem like elitists, others seem like they just never want to play pvp which is a fine argument. It's not changing now so it doesn't actually matter. Personally I just see it as a critical part of completing everything year 1 had to offer, that's all.

No, the PvP in this game is to unbalanced for it to be fair, especially if you are like me and have gotten two mentor missives ever, and neither had thorn...
-
Definitely. Over capturing skolas 100%
-
No as it would have exluded the vast majority of the community. Before I get any troll comments I have been there.
-
Yea even tho I haven't gone flawless, it should since the PVP aspect of the game is not that well represented on moments of triumph
-
Well, it kinda conflicts with the lore, as Osris was exiled and why would the city praise you for partying with his crew?
-
Yes it should have. It had all 3 pinnacles of pve -Atheon, Crota and Skolas. It should recognize those who have done it all in pvp. And I'm not an elitist and I haven't been to the lighthouse yet. Also I had the triumphs completed when it dropped. Yet the lighthouse eludes me.
sorry for the wall of text. I didn't plan on saying so much.
-
No, that will create more entitled guardians and I think we have enough of those.
-
I would have said reach rank 5 iron banner before the lighthouse. Maybe a certain number of trials matches but I think the lighthouse is a bit much as bungie was trying to make this an achievement that most people could complete just to mark that you played in year one. Now that being said I wouldn't have been upset if they had made it a part of the emblem requirements.
-
-
No, it should not include the lighthouse.
-
Sure... Took me awhile to get it. I know I'm not that great at PVP but practice and consistency helped me achieve that goal..
-
-
Nope can't push out the casuals and not everyone is good at MP. Plus if you've made it there you already get gear, weapons, shaders, etc. I say that's plenty of rewards, that most don't have.
-
3 OdpowiedziNo, for every flawless run, there is 7-9 teams that dont go flawless
-
4 OdpowiedziNo. I don't enjoy Destiny's pvp and it would be really tough, if not impossible, for me to step in and go flawless in the small window between announcing the emblem and the end of year one. Not to mention having to deal with lag switching and other forms of cheating/exploiting, dealing with Thorn and other OP weapons that just get annoying and make it not fun. Maybe a "win x amount of Trials matches," but not going flawless. That's almost like requiring the flawless raider trophy. Sure, it can be done, but many people cheesed, or would cheese, to get it. Just like Bungie came out and said, "Don't trust anyone who guarantees flawless Trials."
-
2 OdpowiedziYes I believe so because none of that stuff on the list was actually hard. Unless you're doing skolas now which in that case sucks
-
yes it should include it
-
Probably should
-
No, but I think there should have been a pve and pvp emblem one for hardest pve (raids/challenges) and pvp (trials/medals)
-
Yes so it could have been a bit rarer
-
-
2 OdpowiedziIt's out of reach for a lot of the community. I rarely focus on PvP and I'm not alone.
-
Maybe something like 20 matches won overall. Pve has hard raids so why not have someone wine some trials matches.
-
2 OdpowiedziTriumph is to prove that you've played since the beginning not being better than 9 different teams in a row in elimination
-
It should've but it's too late now.
-
Nah, the lighthouse already has enough rewards. They have their own emblem, weapons, and grimoire. And yes, I do realize that the raids have their own emblem, weapons, and grimoire.
