The one piece of Year 1 gear you want to keep
So if there could be one piece of gear from Year One that you were allowed to ascend or whatever you want to call it for Year Two and beyond, what would it be? I personally wish that my Dead Orbit cloak I've had since the beginning of the game could inherit some perks of its own so that I could show it off to all the newbies and such. To be honest even though it won't have any perks or defense I'll probably end up wearing it anyway even if my light level suffers a bit. Seriously no matter how cool all those new perks on the cloaks are I'm keeping my Dead Orbit cloak because its badass and its my connection to when I started the game. What about you guys?
Cool to see a lot of you guys aren't only choosing either Gjallarhorn or Fatebringer! I haven't even heard of some of this stuff lol.

I really want to keep my Nerigal Savant III, the Vanguard chestpiece from vanilla Destiny. Like, that chestpiece IS my Warlock and I really hate the thought of having to give it up for good. None of the others have ever looked as good IMO.
